"Holy shit, Ray!" Skyler sighed out, "You can't just do that! I could've killed you!" Her knife pressed slightly more to his throat as he answered.

"You don't say," he commented dryly, eyeing her sharp blade that almost pushed into his skin. Skyler quickly pulled her blade back and made it vanish with her magic.

Raymond pushed himself up by his elbows, his face suddenly really close to hers. "Would you mind," he breathed out, "moving? Please?"

Skyler flushed and cursed herself inside her head for not wearing something less... revealing to bed. Her flimsy white nightgown left most of her shoulders and her legs bare.

She found her eyes travelling over him. His linen shirt was open, his chest heaving in sync with hers. Their eyes met in shock, the ocean crashed with the ground and it seemed as if the heavens wanted for more than their eyes to crash – and Skyler almost wanted to give in to the temptation...

"Ew! You are not going to kiss are you?" Tobias exclaimed in disgust, his hands in front of his eyes. Skyler felt Raymond freeze beneath her, the both of them looking at the child in fright.

"Who's going to kiss?" Thor asked as he entered the bedroom unannounced, Loki and Cassidy following. Her father froze immediately after asking.

Skyler let out a startled yelp and almost flew off Raymond's lap. "Dad! What the –" She caught herself from cursing and looked at Tobias then back at her father, "What the poptarts are you doing here?" she hissed at the God of Thunder.

"We're leaving in an hour, Skyler – I'm here to make sure Toby has packed his things." He shot a look at her attire and Raymond's loose shirt. A grimace slipped onto his face and then disappeared again.

Tobias then jumped from the bed and ran to Skyler. "I don't want to go, Daddy... I want to stay with Sky-Sky!" Surprise sparked through Skyler's chest as she realised that in just one night, her brother had actually envisioned her as a part of his family. An actual part of his family.

Her father's eyebrows had gone up in surprise as well, Skyler could see a conflict in his eyes. That's when she realised: they really were moving. "Tobias, son, we have to go. Don't you want to go back to school and play with your friends? Grandma and I have been trying to move there for you." Thor tried to coerce his son, kneeling down to Tobias' level.

Her brother clung to her nightgown, hiding behind her leg. As much as he could, that was. "No..." he whined lowly, and Skyler felt tears at the back of her leg.

Slowly, she kneeled down and faced her brother. Tears brimmed in her eyes, and she swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat. "Toby... You have to go with them."
