The pinkette fell against the wall, muffled choked sobs escaping the male as he bit his lip harder to attempt to quiet down the sobs even more but it was unsuccessful as he just ended up breaking down even more due to the sight of the blood on his fingers.

"Fuck.."
The monotone voice faltered a bit as sobs escaped despite the pinkette despising how pathetic the tears were.

But he hated how he couldn't stop caring for the masked blonde, he hated how he loved when he felt the other's arms around his waist, almost like he didn't want to leave the pinkette's side.

He hated how he loved the other's voice. His voice always managed to calm him down and when he played with his hair even a bit? He fucking loved that too.

He knew his brother hated it, he knew he was taking care of his brother's enemy.

But he just.. hated how he couldn't stop caring.

When the pinkette was lost in his thoughts, he hadn't noticed Dream walking over and sitting down beside him before he felt arms wrap around his waist and pull him gently towards the other's chest.

Techno's breath hitched a bit, picking up on Dream's heartbeat. He also picked up the fingers going through the braid, carefully taking it out of the loose braid it originally was in.

"Techno.. why are you crying?"
The familiar voice asked, the tone softer than it usually was as he held the pinkette close to his chest.

"I-.."
He hesitated.
"Techno?"
He stayed silent.

His brother told him to do what's best for him but he loved Dream and he couldn't stop loving him.

Techno took a moment to calm down a bit before he spoke up, "I can't stop loving you and it hurts. You keep playing.. games and it hurts so much." He muttered, burying his head a bit into his chest.

"I don't care what Schlatt does to me,
just show me that you don't think of me as some.. stupid toy. Please.." He sighed.

As he rested his head against the other's chest, he noticed something.

His heartbeat was gone.
