Chapter 55

Another new part for this story, yay!I had writer's block, and I simply had trouble coming up with a new story. Anyways, please leave any suggestions below if you guys have any ideas, and let's continue this storybook!

Zuzu wasn't sure what to think. She knew Yuya wasn't evil, but it seems like now he wasn't himself. He had fallen victim to the parasite after he had been dueling Ruri and Serena. Even now she wouldn't believe it.

Zuzu was back at home after the whole Arc V project failed. It's been a month, but Zuzu looked over at Yuya. He looked happy, yet there was days where he acted so sadistic and cruel.

Just like Yuri. Yuya had his counterparts in him just like she did, but sometimes it was hard to tell when they would act like them. Something that scared Zuzu, and had actually made her cry was when an unexpected duel came up while they were talking.

Yuya was the love of her life, but how could she keep him from losing himself in tears? She was the one crying the most, but it seemed like her lover was as well. "Zuzu? Earth to Zuzu?" Yuya told her as he waved his hand in front of her.

"Huh? What's up?" Zuzu asked Yuya, and he seemed worried. "You're spacing out more and more since last month. What's on your mind?" Yuya asked her, and damn, to her, Yuya looked like Yuto to her right now.

"I-It's nothing, Yuya." Zuzu told the strawberry haired male, but she couldn't get that image out of her head. Yuya's usual crimson red eyes being blank and dull, yet being like snake eyes the moment he was told to duel.

"Yuya, I'm glad you're back to normal, but I'm not even sure I can even trust myself or you." Zuzu told him out of nowhere, and Yuya seemed confused. "You can't trust me? Why not?" Yuya asked the pink haired female as he held her hand.

"I'm still imagining how you were back when we were at Duel Academy! How lost and broken you looked because of that  doctor!" Zuzu shouted as tears ran down her face, and Yuya was shocked. "Zuzu, that man is gone now. He won't hurt us anymore. No enemy is." Yuya told her, and he was also crying.

Music came on like if it had meant to, and Zuzu was shocked. Yuya smiled at her softly, and he pulled her close. Sora along with Tate, Fredrick, and Ally watched. "We'll be safe from now even if we're dancing with tears in our eyes." Yuya told Zuzu, and she held onto him as they danced.
