The truck reached the boy...

They closed their eyes in fear while Karan was standing numb...
He was too far but could see everything...
Just when the truck was about to hit the little boy named Ayaan... Preeta dived in and took Ayaan in her embrace and rolled to other side of the road... She had held him in her arms too closely and securely... Due to the dive Preeta's dupatta got torn revealing her face.... Karan got lost in her angelic face for sometime... But then came to his senses...
They both(Preeta and Ayaan) had their eyes tightly closed... Then slowly Preeta opened her one eye and saw Ayaan...

Preeta: Baby... Aap thik toh ho naa???

She pulls him out of her embrace gently and makes him stand... She checks his hands and legs...

Preeta: Aapko kahin dard ho raha hai?? Kahin chot lagi hai?? Batao bachcha??

By then his grandparents reached there...
