"I'm so tired" i mumbled yawning and leaning my head on the window
Vincent glanced over at me then back to the street "you can go to sleep if you want just don't forget we gotta go to that reunion thing at my mama house"
I sighed in frustration not wanting to do anything at all for the rest of the day
"What you doing allat for" he asked twisting his face up
"Vincent I'm tired and I don't feel like dealing with your family today" I admitted with my eyes closed trying not to fall asleep
See I love his mama she's such a sweetheart but his cousins And nem can go play in traffic they messy asses always got something slick to say and I don't have the energy for it today
"I'm already knowing you was gon say that, we not gon be there that long Nd plus they know better then to say sum to you"

I really don't wanna go to this lor get together but I don't want to seem selfish
"Y'all ready" Vincent asked standing in the door frame
I nodded my head and picked miko up and went to the car
"You still mad Marie" I heard which made me look over at the driver seat seeing him staring at me
"No" I mumbled looking the other way
He reached his hand across the seat and turned my head so that I was facing him
"Stop doing that nae" he said staring me in my eyes making me nervous under his gaze
He pulled me closer and pecked my lips twice "you gon be fine nae" he let go of my face and placed his hand on my thigh pulling back from the driveway
- - - - "Hola, Marie" Vincent's granny said greeting me
"Hola" I said back
I knew a little bit of Spanish because of how long I was with Vincent
"¿Dónde está Vincent?" She questioned and just on que he walked in with miko in his hands
"K lo k mami" Vincent said while bouncing miko
Her face contorted with surprise then went back to normal and she had the cheesy smile on her face
"¿Esa es su hija? Es tan bonita" she said cooing at miko
Vincent nodded smiling "I know right"
That right there made my heart melt he's so affectionate towards her and I'm here for it
"Ir hablar a tu madre" his granny said making him kiss her cheek and walk away with me following behind him - - - - - After we greeted his mom we went out back to where everybody else was at
The smell of pastelon instantly hit me, making me hungry
"Hand me miko so you can go make our plates" I said taking her from Vincent and walking over to a table where there wasn't that many people
Vincent was taking forever making the plates and miko started getting fussy I started looking around for her binky
But I couldn't find it so I started bouncing her on my lap while pulling bubble guppies up on my phone
"Look tink tink" I said trying to bring her attention to the phone
I finally got her to calm down I looked over to where the food was and all I seen was this long ass line of people
Rolling my eyes in frustration I looked down at miko seeing her fighting her sleep I cut my phone and put it back in my purse picking her up
"You sleepy baby" I said rocking her i lightly kissed her on her forehead seeing her finally give in and go to sleep
"That's your daughter" I heard someone ask I nodded my head without looking up
"Mhm, I wonder who the daddy is" when I heard that my head shot up immediately
Seeing Vincent raggedy ass cousin araceli Smirking at me
"Why you worry about me you need to worry about what all them abortions gon do to your body" I told her watching her face drop
"It's always the bitches built like somebody middle aged aunt that got sum to say"
She scoffed then walked away I'm tired of her ran through ass, she always got something to say out her mouth - - - - - -
