You have to forgive. Not for them, but for yourself. There will be times when you forgive, but then randomly that moment replays over in your mind and you get angry all over again and this cycle repeats. People should give themselves more credit when it comes to this. Those that are able to forgive and forgive despite being hurt so many times. No one talks about that part of forgiveness though or the strongest forgiveness there is, forgiving yourself. If you don't forgive, your only just going to destroy yourself in the long run, whether that is forgiving a family member, yourself or an ex-lover. Forgive, but do not forget. Forgive, but do not stay in situations that hurt your overall wellbeing if you have a choice. And if you don't have a choice then everything will be okay because one day you'll be able to look back and see how far you came. You're strong, beautiful and resilient. Once you forgive, you will feel a physical breath of fresh air. And if you can't forgive that is okay too, but do not let it weigh heavily on your mind because that pain in your heart will one day be a distant memory. I hope my words have reached you in some way, shape or form. Thank you for spending your time with me. I love all of you.
