12. Gala ~

Long chapter!! I'm sorry 😖
Y/n's pov:
I wake up around 9am on saturday which is the day of the gala, to me laying on top of Fred remembering the events of last night.

I get up to go have breakfast and let Fred sleep in when I'm pulled back down from my waist

"Fred I was going to go have breakfast" I say as he tightly hugs me, as if I were to slip out at any moment

"No you stay here with me" He said mumbled into my hair

"Fred please can you let go?" I ask while running my hands through his soft ginger hair, attempting to flatten it down

"Mhm fine but we're cuddling more later" He says as he lets me go, releasing his grip

"Thank you Fred, I'll be in the great hall if you need me" I say as I kiss his head before walking out of my dorm

"Just friends huh?" A voice says behind me and I turn around to see the girls

"Oh shut it" I say while smirking as we all make our way down the stairs and to the great hall

"I'm excited for tonight, I've never been to a gala before" Alicia says

"Didn't you go to the Yule ball, or something like that last year?" I question her as we make it to the great hall

"I was going to go but I fell off a tree and sprained my ankle" She says, wincing at the memory

"Oh yeah I remember that, what were you doing in a tree anyways?" Angelina asks

"I saw the cutest ginger cat and I thought it was stuck so I went up to grab it but it jumped down by itself and I went to go down but my foot slipped on one of the branches" She says

We all start laughing as she complains about the crutches she has to use for 2 weeks
Time skip ~
Quite a few hours pass by and the gala starts in an hour or so

The group is just chilling in the common room, Katie is knocked out on one of the sofa chairs, Angelina and Alicia are discussing what makeup look they wanna do and I'm sitting on the couch with Fred leaning against my legs as George, Lee and him discuss some new product ideas for their joke shop they plan to start

I read through a random magazine I found in the table when a large body collapses onto mine, making me let out an "Oomph"

I remove the magazine from my face to see Fred laying on my stomach with his eyes closed, complaining that he's too tired to discuss anymore

I start to play with his hair as I continue to read the magazine

A camera clicks off as I see Angelina with her camera once again taking a photo of Fred and I

She waits for the photo to develop before giving it to me, noticing that it's a moving picture

"Woah how'd you do that?" I say gesturing to the movement in the picture

"I picked up some new released film at one of the stores in Hogsmeade" She says

"Could you possibly take another one? I want to give one to Fred as well when he wakes up" I say, noticing the red headed boy is knocked out

She nods as she goes to take another one, with me smiling in it this time

She hands me the photo and I put it in my pocket as I close the magazine and gently play with Freds hair, putting a section into a loose braid

"Omg!" Alicia shouts making us all look at her startled, and Fred slowly opens his eyes

"THE GALA STARTS IN HALF AN HOUR, COME GIRLS MOVE IT" she shouts as she shakes Katie wide awake and ushers us to the dorm
