Beginners Luck,

It's been a few years since our last performance, everyone is getting abit irritated with Dylans constant phrase,

"wait, the eye has a plan," or some shit like that, but Henley seemed to get the most irritated.... Since she was the first to go, the eye let her go, it hurt alot.. Seeing her go,

But some good news, Jack and I became a pair! We are queen and Jack of the deck, yes Jack, cause they're more intriguing and more fun,

Merritt is still same old, except extra old, he teases me and jack one moment then separate us the next, cause protective dad,

Daniel is a little less irritating then he was when we first came together, he seemed fed up with Dylan the most.. But he stayed, though he's been going missing quite alot recently,

Jack and I sat in the living room, Dylan set up a house for us so we could hide from the others,

He also got me a kitten.. So his great in my books, "ginger," I whisper as the baby cat slowly walked over to me and I played with his fur,

"I feel cheated on... Because of a cat," Jack mumbles next to me, I look to him chuckling"leave him alone, "I say and then hold up the cat in front of his face," could you really be mad at his little face? "I ask as the little ginger cat mewd towards Jack, causing the magicians heart to melt,

" aww, "he says and takes him from my grasp into his chest, I smirk at his little girly high pitch voice,

" his a little traitor, but I love him, "Jack mumbles kissing the top of gingers head, I laugh and lean on jacks shoulder petting the cats hair,

I heard a voice clear" merritt, "I adress him smiling, his hands separated my head from jacks shoulder, also taking the cat from Jack giving him back to me," I already had this talk, "merritt says walking around to one of the single chairs,

" okay, ready for your lesson? "I asks Jack as I lean up setting the now sleepy cat besides me on a pillow, he nods eagerly" ever since I met you,"he says causing me to laugh,

I was teaching him how I did my tricks and he was teaching merritt how to flick cards, which is not going that well, while merritt also taught him how to hypnos people,

" the whole thing of the tricks I do is to cause a distraction one place while doing something else elsewhere," I explain smiling and stand and take up the deck of cards,

"pick a card," I say fanning the cards down in front of him, he dose so and looks at me, "write your name," I grin handing him a pen while looking somewhere else,

"fold it once," I mumble as he followed my orders like an excited puppy, "put it in your pocket," he dose and I smile picking up the empty beer bottle merritt had, "mind?" I ask and merr shakes his head watching me,

I knock on the bottle three times, "nothing happened," merritt says furrowing his brows, I smile Turing the bottle upside down and put my finger in fishing for the card, once I got it out I unfolded it, "this your card?" I ask tilting my head, he searched his pocket, "yeah,"he nods with a defeated look while looking at the two of hearts that had his name written on it,

" but what if it isn't, "I ask flipping the card in the air causing it to spark on fire, I walk over to a plant in the corner and pull a card from soil" what if this is? "I ask holding up an identical card,

" wow, "they say astonished, I do playful bows laughing, I walk over to my original spot and picked up ginger petting his fur,

Jack attempted it a good few times,"Jack your doing it wrong,"I  sighs with a smirk, Jack looked up at me with a wicked smile, "really?"

"bet you heard that before," merritt cracks a joke at jacks expense causing me to laugh,

"hey, man," Jack fumbled with his fingers blushing, "hey its okay, beginner..... It gets better,"I says in a understanding but teasing tone causing him to turn redder, I laugh and look to ginger,

" shush, "he says chuckling and he continued to practice, my phone suddenly dinged,

" hey, it's from Dan, "I say moving forward opening my phone," Dan wants to meet us at the hide out,its important.. Blabla, "I mumble as the other two listened uninterested in what Dan had to say,

I just texted back a 'k' and closed my phone," you did not hit him with the 'k', "Jack laughs while I shrug," he's gonna throw a tantrum, "merr smirks, I place my feet on the coffee table, with a satisfied 'good',
