To make this clear,
I need have no fear,
I am brave,
And I am smart,
I am just like you,
I may not look like you do,
But I am who I am,
This is not a sham,
People may resist me
They do not see me,
For I am invisible,
I do not take account of them,
They tear at my hem,
But I will win,
Darkness may close in,
And I may be up to my chin,
I may even drown,
But I will do so with not a slight frown,
For I was not born for this,
I have a purpose,
And I will not neglect myelf,
The pleasure of others,
They hide it in the light,
I conceal mine in the darkness,
And let it go,
It shines and burns through my heart,
Something like a solace,
A beautiful mornings dew,
The shining of the moon through the blinds,
I was made for more,
And I will not stand for less.
