I'm not even a fan of One Direction, but the hype surrounding this book was massive, so I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about. While the book was quite enjoyable, I feel like it is way overrated. That is not to say that it's a bad book, quite contrary, it is a very good book, I just don't understand all the hype over it. To me, Tessa and Harry argue way too much, there is too much conflict and so many plot devices that it's kind of disconcerting at times.
There was a time, where it started to get quite boring but then it picked up again and was enjoyable, and now it feels like there is no conclusion, no end near in sight, despite the author saying there is, as if anybody has read her recent update would know, she has created another plot device that could possibly drag the story on even more.
Besides that, I actually really enjoyed it, which is surprising coming from someone who is not even a fan of One Direction.
