10. Shopping

Siddharth's POV
"GET UP YOU SLEEPY HEAD" I heard someone shouting or you can say my wife shouting at me. I lazily opened my one eye and peeped to see Avneet looking furious as I continued to sleep.

"What happened Avneet why are shouting like a crazy woman" I said as I sat on the bed criss-crossing my legs.

"You lazy ass look at the time its 10:30 AM" she again shouted but this time shocking me.

"What its already 10:30, Shit, I am late for office" I said as I hurriedly removed the blanket and ran to the bathroom.

WTF!
How come I slept till this late.

"You have to go to shopping with me bhulakkard" reminded Avneet as she made the bed.

"When did that happen???" I asked  peeking from washroom as I brushed my teeth.

"Last night" replied Avneet as she took out clothes from the closet.

"Okay" I said and closed the door, a min later realisation washed over me as I remembered what she said, "shopping?" I asked confused, maybe I misheard.

"Yes shopping, you only promised me to take today" replied Avneet. I cursed myself for saying anything without thinking.

I never went anywhere after mine and Jannat breakup, it was like as if I forgot how to live a life. Just office and home. I became a complete workoholic. Thinking all this I took a quick bath and wrapped a towel around my waist.

I came in my room and a grey sweatshirt and white sweatpants were kept on the bed. I picked it up and quickly changed into them. Spraying some perfume I was good to go. I took my laptop and did some last minutes work which were important.

Avneet stepped out of the Closet dressed in black bodycon outfit, which fit her curves perfectly.

She's just perfect in every way.

Avneet came out of Walk-in Closet all dressed. She looked at Sid and frowned seeing him working. She went and closed the laptop.
"Avni what was that??" asked Sid glaring at her. She ignored him
"Let's go" she said grabbing her phone.
"Shaadi karke fass gaya yarr" murmered Sid and fortunately Avu didn't heard it
"Did you say something?" She asked he nodded his head in a no
"Mom we are going" shouted Avu
"But Sid didn't had breakfast" said Vibha Aunty
"Yes, let me atleast have breakfast" said Sid get out of her hold
"Don't worry I'll make him eat something on the way" said Avu dragging Sid.

Both settled in they car and left

Siddharth's POV
I was driving the car peacefully suddenly Avu shouted "STOP THE CAR". I applied with a jerk.
"What happened??" I asked worriedly.
"Nothing you wait here I will bring breakfast from STARBUCKS" saying this she left. Dammit!!!! I will kill this girl dude! Can't she say this in normal tone what was the need to shout. But why is she caring for me so much?? She always reminds me of her. I need to maintain a distance from her. I can't let her fall for me because I can't love her back. I was brought back to reality by Avni.

"Here you go?'' she said passing me the food.

"Now, I will drive" she said. I didn't thought much and sat on the passenger seat. She was looking amused ofcourse I didn't fight with her. She sat on the driver seat confused and started driving. It was a complete silent drive.

Finally, we reached Infinite Mall. It was almost 1.5 hour drive. And sitting idle doing nothing is much more tiring than sitting and continuously doing something.

It's been three hours I am roaming around with her and finally looks like her shoppingggggg is completed.
"Done?" I asked
"Outfits done now accesories, makeup and footwear are left" she said like it's normal for her. My eyes seems to come out of socket. Wtf???? This girl is continuously shopping for 3 hours and still 3 things are left. I am feeling dizzy.
"First let's go to footwear section" she said dragging me out.

Now, we are in footwear section and she is trying Snickers, shoes, heels and what do you call other types of footwear every thing. But still this girl feels comfortable in wearing boys hoodie, shirt or t-shirt. I just want to ask all the girls out there WHAT DO YOU DO WITH ALL THESE CLOTHES???

"Pack these" she said passing 15 footwears. Wtf??? She is surely gonna make my account balance 0. She looked at me and smiled. I rolled my eyes and passed her my card.

Now, we are going home and it's almost 6 PM. I opened my phone and clicked on the notification. It was from the bank. Opening it I was again shocked 45000, 42678, 6942, 6341. I clicked on calculator and add all these 1,00,961. She shopped of 1 lakh. She is crazy about shopping. I looked at her and she was looking a bit tired.
