Chapter 5: The Tragedy

The next day, Marinette was walking to school when Luka and his gang walked with her and serenaded her with a song. Marinette just kept quiet 'til the song was over.

"When are you gonna quit messing around and doing all this stuff to get me, Luka??" Marinette asked madly.

"'Cuz I want you, Marinette! Isn't it obvious? You're the most extraordinary girl. As clear as a musical note and as sincere as a melody. You're the music that's been playing in my head since the first day we met." Luka went down on his knee and offered her a red rose.

"You can't flatter me anymore, Luka. Now quit it! I'm gonna be late. AGAIN!!" Marinette rushed to the school while Luka got mad.

"WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"

"Calm down man, if she really doesn't like you, don't force it." Kim replied.

"Yeah. Someday you'll find the right person for you, Luka. She's out there somewhere."

"NO! SHE HAS TO FALL IN LOVE WITH ME!!!! THERE'S NOTHING AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME FROM GETTING MARINETTE!!!"

As soon as class started, Marinette was surprised that Alya wasn't in class. So she asked her boyfriend, Nino.

"I haven't seen her since the first day of school."

"What?? Where could she be? Alya..." Marinette got worried.

"I'll help you find her if you want. She's my girlfriend and your best friend. It's the least I could do. "

"Sure. Thanks Nino."

After class, Nino and Marinette went in search of Alya. Nino insisted that he'd take the route to the Eiffel Tower and Marinette would take the route to the Louvre. As for Marinette, she got lost on the way there. She didn't remember the path. At that point, she decided that she was lost. As she was walking, she stumbled upon a very abandoned place. It was filled with leaves and vines so she wasn't able to see what it was. She tried to peek through a small hole in the rusted gate. What she saw from inside was amazing.

She saw a garden full of pink roses, a fountain, and a big building filled with moss, vines, leaves, and pink roses all the way to the roof.

"Wow.... Who...lived here? Well whoever it was was probably rich."

As she picked the gate, she opened it and went inside and explored the premises. She took one look at a beautiful pink rose. But she dared not touch it because she felt that someone was watching her.

She decided to get inside the building. With one push from the big door, there came out a dozen hamsters scouring and running on the hall floor.

"A so many of them!!"

She called out if someone was inside the place. But no one answered. As Marinette walked up the staircase, the kwamis noticed her and hid from one of the rose bushes.

"Hey look!" Plagg pointed.

"It's-"

"A girl!" Tikki got excited.

"Let's not get too hasty, you two." Wayzz said.

"But what if she's the one? The one who'll break the spell??" Plagg asked.

"Who's that?!?" Marinette asked vaguely. She suspected that someone was really there. But she realized that it was maybe the wind.

As she explored the corridors of the mansion, she found a wooden door. As she opened it, she discovered that it was a dungeon. A dungeon full of naked women. Both dead, afraid, and starving. She also saw Alya, who happened to be in one of the cells in the dungeon.

"Alya!! How did you end up in a place like this??"

"Marinette! I got lost and I saw this mansion. So I tried to take a pic of it. But somebody kidnapped me and placed me in this cell. What are you doing here girl?!?!? This mansion...is terrifying! You gotta get out of here!! He's coming"

"I'm here to rescue you! ALL OF YOU! And who's he??"

Suddenly the dungeon door closed with a big boom that made all the lights inside the mansion go out.

"Who's that!?!?" A shadow appeared before her.

"Who are you!?!? What have you done to them?!?!?"

"First of all, who are you?? What are you here for, huh!?!?! Do you wanna end up like these women?!?!?" The shadow responded in a very low and angry voice.

"I've come to rescue them!!"

"Oh really?" The shadow licked Marinette's neck.

"Get off me!!"

As she faced the candle she was holding to the shadow she was horrified on what she saw.

"Hey there, princess." A cat-looking guy smiled mysteriously at her and licked his tongue.

"A cat?" Marinette got confused.

"You're going nowhere but here little girl! You're MINE NOW!!"

"Let them go!! You're not getting away with this!!! I'M CALLING THE AUTHORITIES" Marinette shouted as she tried to resist from getting into the cell. But as she looked into her phone, there wasn't one bar of signal. And the mysterious cat stole it and broke it to pieces.

"Nuh-uh, princess."

"FINE!! I'll accept. But only if you let these women out. I can't risk you hurting them. TAKE ME INSTEAD!! For the price of these women."

"You agree to be my prisoner for the freedom of these women?" the Cat asked her with a look.

"Yes. Me equals all of them."

"Alright then. Wayzz, Trixx, Fluff. Help out these women to the door."

"Yes master." The three kwamis replied.

"Marinette don't do this..." Alya held her hand in Marinette's.

"It's okay. I'll escape I promise."

As soon as all the girls who were trapped got out of the mansion, the mysterious Cat visited Marinette's cell. He found her crying.

"Don't cry, princess. You're gonna have fun here. Believe me. You're gonna enjoy your stay here for the rest of your life!" the Cat said with a freaky smile. Marinette looked at him and told him to leave her alone.

"YOUR MY PRISONER!! YOU FOLLOW WHAT I SAY!! NOW SHUT THE HELL UP!!!"

Marinette cried all night 'til morning. As she woke up, she found herself around a bunch of kwamis.
