Chapter 3

-3rd POV (Mainly what happen to Marinette)

Marinette had been having fun with her auntie Lillian as they went to the park and they were about to get ice cream. That is until a tall man with brown evil eyes attacked auntie. Mari felt his presents so she whispered to auntie "Auntie, can we go home. I don't feel safe" to which her aunt replies "Of course moonlight". Mari then realized that her aunt felt the guy's presents too. A few seconds of trying to walk away fast but calmly the man came up with them and started punching on auntie. Mari wanted to help but she didn't know what to do and her parents aren't here. All Mari felt like doing is crying but right now she had to stay strong and cry later.

Auntie then looked like she was lost in thought while fighting off the man that looked like auntie knew him from the way he and her were looking at each other. Auntie then yells softly and loving "Moonlight I love you so very much and continue to be the brave and kind hearted person you are. Also when you see your parents tell them that Lillian loves them and hopes you all will still remember me in the future. Then auntie threw the song book that her and Mari created. Marinette then felt like she wanted to drop down and crawl into a ball to cry. But she can't right now so Mari took the book and heard her honorary aunt yell RUN!!!

So the little blueberry child ran as fast as her little legs took her. She ended up in an alley as it began to rain. All she wanted to do was cry and sleep. She wonders if her parents will ever find her and if Auntie will be okay. After being lost in thought a boy that looked like the age of 11 tapped her on the shoulders. He then asked her if she wanted to go somewhere safe for now at least and Mari told him yes. He took her to an abandoned building and once inside there were a bunch of kids. They all looked at Mari but then the boy took her by the hand to the roof where there was something to protect them from the rain. It was now night and pouring down rain as Mari didn't know how she could get back to her parents. Now on the roof Mari sits down under the shelter part to keep herself from getting wet more. The boy then sits next to her in silence after 5 minutes he asks her what happened. Mari decides to trust him as he gives the vibe where she believes he is good and can be trusted.

So she tells him everything while trying to hold her sobs. But she couldn't help it anymore so he hugs her and tells her everything is going to be okay. He finally asked her what her name is as she replied saying Marinette Amelie Bluebell. Marinette will alway remember her father telling her to never say her full last name for various reasons. The boy then says it is nice to meet you Pixie Pop I'm Jason. Nice to meet you Jay.

After that night and into weeks/months they turned into buddies like a brother and sister bond. When they would leave the abandoned building she would alway be right next to him. She even starts warming up to the other kids who would alway say she is a heart of gold. Mari was good at distracting Jason to steal something like money or if she would beg the restaurants and bakeries owner in the back of their stores.

One day Mari was by herself and it was around 3am. It was kinda dark and gloomy as she likes to take walks at night to clear her thoughts. Unfortunately a man with a horrible costume and ugly face paint came up to her. Hello dearly. Why are you out so late the creepy man asked. The man though she would run so he would enjoy scaring a few kids now and then. But she didn't run. She replied kindly and smiled saying Hi I'm Marinette and I just wanted to clear my thoughts a lot has happened the past few months. He thought she was crazy for not running away or screaming but no she spoke to him kindly. You do know I'm the Joker right? The Joker that kills people. Joker told her. She replies with a yes and I believe there's good in you but first I must say your costume is horrible. She then went on a rant talking about his costume and makeup and other superheroes and villains costumes.He was gasping like a fish for one this little girl just spoke a lot about his and other people costumes, then she wasn't scare of him and believe there was good in him THE JOKER, and she even spoke kindly to him. He really likes this kid and she seems pretty smart and with such a big vocabulary, knows much about fashion as she looked about the age 3.

I like you blueberry and you can call me Uncle J. Joker said after she was done with her little rant. Okay Uncle J but can you please allow me to make you a different costume. Please!!! Marinette begged using baby doll eyes which the Joker couldn't say no too. You can do it Blueberry but I would like you to meet some people I know so he picked Mari got up and hugged him. He felt kindness and warmth in his heart that he hasn't felt in a long time.
