tutorial : how to make a simple manip cover
face claim : zendaya
apps / websites : ibispaint x, photopea.com, deviantart.com, picsart

before. make sure you know how to download pngs and psds. refer to my how to add psds without photoshop and how to make a simple manip graphic . i show you how to do in that tutorial.

one. first things first you need a picture of your person. you can download it from deviantart but today i'm searching zendaya photoshoot to give me better results. so search *person name* photo shoot.

two. this is a question i get a lot, 'where do you get your backgrounds for covers' pinterest or devaintart. search on devainart, premade backgrounds and you can search on pinterest, backgrounds for covers. or i like to follow people from wattpad that's on pinterest to see if they have any resources that can help me 😪🖐🏾
you can search on google what type of background you want. example. city backgrounds

three. open up ibispaint and upload your background. add a new layer and import your photo of your person. start erasing the background. if you have a png you can skip the erasing.

four. when doing covers, i like to shadow. add a new layer, change the color to something dark, I'm using black, and use any of the airbrushes. Brush the bottom where the png/picture stops so it doesn't look choppy.

five. now at this part you can do whatever you'd like. i'm adding a glow ( a tutorial is coming soon for this ) and an outline glow but going to your png layer then to fx > blur > glow inner or inner

( i decided not to this way bc i didn't really like it. )

six. now you can add highlight, png text ( tutorial is already up ) & overlays if you want. always add a new layer.

i also like to change the color to white, the blending mode to add to make it a glowy effect. i have tutorials on highlighting and contouring as well.

you can also smooth out the skin and lips using the smudge or the blur brush.
