This takes place when the two are probably 13 or 14.

Probably when En and (Y/n) get out of Hell.

"Are these places always like this?" En mumbled. He was silently holding (Y/n)'s hand. The female teen released a soft breath. "Uh... Let's go over there." The two jogged into an alley, only to see a couple making out.

(Y/n) yelped.

"Forgive us!" She yelled before jogging away with En following behind.

The two silently sat down on a bench.

"Jeez. It's so crowded." (Y/n) mumbled. En sighed softly as he looked down at the floor.

"Are places always like this?" He mumbled.

"The city seems beautiful and all, but it's so crowded. It's too much for us." En nodded.

"But, we're gonna have to get used to this." He responded.

"We should use the money Chidaruma gave to us. Let's find a hotel." (Y/n) said before a male came up to the two.

"You guys seem lost and tired. Why don't you come with me?" En silently grabbed (Y/n)'s hand and silently glared at the male. He had a soft smile on his face as he looked at (Y/n). The female teen frowned softly.

"No thanks..." En mumbled. He and (Y/n) got up and slowly started to walk away.

"I can tell you two are really tired, though. And you don't look as if you know your way around. Come on." The male grabbed (Y/n)'s other wrist. En's eyes narrowed a bit as he glared at the male. The red haired teen was about ready to use his Magic right then and there.

"Let go of her." En ordered and unclipped the mouth of his mask. The male did as ordered. "We're not taking up your offer. We can take care of ourselves. Leave us alone." En and (Y/n) began to walk away. They silently looked back every once in a while.

The male remained next to the bench, staring at the two with a soft grin.

"You okay?" En mumbled while he and (Y/n) walked into an inn.

"He seemed creepy. But, yeah. I'm fine." En sighed softly.

"I know. We might need to get more money tomorrow. Can you use your Magic?" He questioned and softly put his hands on (Y/n)'s shoulders. The female teen nodded.

"What about you?" En nodded.

"I can use it just fine. Let's check out a room and get some sleep." He spoke.

"What if he's there again?" (Y/n) questioned while she and En walked over to the clerk.

"I'll kill him." En answered.

"Scary." (Y/n) mumbled.

"Well, we're gonna have to start doing that if we want to survive." En replied. "So, get used to it." He added and pat (Y/n)'s head.
