Valentines Day Part 1

February 14th

Today is Valentine's Day. I get all these DM's on every social media from fans. I even get some from people I've worked with.

No, I don't have a valentine. I know. Sad. But it's ok. I'm happy going out with my bestie Nick. He is a youtuber and we met from a collaboration he and I organized. It was about how much we hate Valentine's Day.

People who don't know us always think we are couples and we get the couple discount. It's so fucking good.

Dad is working. He is choosing people to cast for his new movie he is directing. I got to come in and pick out the outfits for tonight because Olivia made it.

Olivia is a designer. I did a 2 month course on fashion and design, so I'm not really qualified but Olivia is, I just help her.

I walk in to pick up the outfits and see the prettiest girl I've seen since Madison Beer. I mean my friends are pretty but I mean Madison is someone I'd fuck with, you know. I walk up to dad.

Laura - You need her to be the main character, she will be the eye catcher... Same with that boy there.

I point to some people in the crowd.

Dad - Thanks... I'll keep that in mind

He kisses my forehead and I walk to Olivia.

Laura - Hey girl!

Olivia - Hey Girlfriend

We basically run into each other's arms.

Laura - I'm here to pick up the outfits for my short film

Olivia - Here you are. This short film better turn out amazing.

Laura - It will with these amazing outfits

I hugged her and walked to my car. The girl I think should be the main character was there talking to, I think her partner. They are fighting.

Girl - Why aren't we going out for dinner tonight? Of all nights...

She sounds upset. He rolled his eyes and walked off. I walk up to her.

Laura - Hey. Sorry for ears-dropping but that doesn't sound like a healthy relationship.

Girl - And who are you?

Laura - I'm Laura Hoen. What's your name?

Girl - I'm Meg Donnelly" She says

Laura - If you want to talk. I'll listen.

She then bursts out crying and I go in to hug her.

Meg - He never takes me out, he never makes me feel like a woman, he never treats me. But I give him everything... Sometimes I think he's with me for the money.

Laura - You don't need him. If you give to him and he doesn't give back, that is not healthy. Trust me. I know.

She looks at me.

Meg - You look familiar... Aren't you Nick Jonas's ex-friend?

She asks. I nod.

Meg - What was that like?

Laura - Well, we were like the besties that wouldn't ever be a couple, you know... but he was always busy with movies and his music. Then near the end of our friendship, he found this girl and just left me on the corner.

Meg - I'm sorry to hear that,

Laura - Your boyfriend doesn't look loyal. Do you want me to see if he is?

She looks at me like, yes please. We hug and exchange numbers and go back to the studio.

I walk in and stand next to dad.

Dad - What's up. I thought you left?

Laura - Cast looks interesting this year.

He nods like ok then. I walk around and see the boyfriend. I walk up to him.

Laura - Hi. I'm Laura Hoen. What's yours?

Boy - I'm Noah Zulfikar... So are you the director's daughter?

Laura - Yeah. I'm also finishing my diploma in law. I'm becoming a lawyer.

I try to make myself sound rich. To see if he's a gold digger.

Noah - Oh... Are you busy tonight?

Laura - No. I'm free... Why?

Noah - I was wondering if you wanna go out for dinner tonight?

Laura - Oh. already... I mean. Only if you're paying

I joke and he laughs too.

Noah - Ight bet, I'll pay. Keep this on the down low though

Laura - Why?

I ask in suspicion.

Noah - I don't want fans seeing me with girls.

Laura - Understandable... Give me your number and I'll text you the time and place

He gives me his number. I wink and walk off. I walk to Meg, out of Noah's sight.

Laura - He's not loyal. Wait for tonight. I have a crew who can help me. Do you know UDY?

She doesn't look happy but she nods.

Laura - I can get them to help me. I'll get a restaurant for hire and I have a lot of friends who can act.

She nods and hugs me. I walk outside and call my mate Sergio.

Sergio - Hey what's up?

Laura - I have that favor you owe me

Sergio - Go on.

Laura - How quick can you hire a fancy restaurant and a nice ass car?

Sergio - Why?

Laura - My friend's boyfriend is a total gold digger and a cheat and we need help and you guys will have an episode too.

Sergio - How quick can you get this friend here?

Laura - her audition finishes in 10.

Sergio - Be here in 30.

Laura - Done. We will be there.

I hang up and walk to Meg.

Laura - Meg wait. Have you finished here?

Meg - Yeah. I was going to go home.

Laura - Come with me. Sergio wants to meet you so we can do this with Noah.

She basically runs to my car. We get in and drive. I call my friends in a group call to change plans.

Laura - Heyo

Griffin - Sup?

Samantha - Are we still doing tonight?

Laura - Kinda, but a bit different.

Sabrina - I'm confused

Laura - Ok. So I have a job for everyone...

Tom - Okay....

Laura - How quick can you all get to Sergio's house?

Nick - Oh my god... Who is the digger?

Laura - My new friend's boyfriend. Talk more there.

KJ - We will be there.

We hang up. We arrive at Sergio's house.
