( disclaimer Jayson's story is kinda twisted here so there not all the STRAIGHT FACTS but there's many versions of his story I just choose to write this one)

I'm sure you all know the story of Jayson Todd right?.

He was Robin, he made a mistake....a big one and it costs his life, and Batman was to blame.

It was almost 2 years.

730 days of torture and bats didn't even bother, HE was the reason for Jayson suffered, HE was the reason for all his pain. Jayson was tied to a wheel chair with barbed wire that pierced his back if he even dare move, rope secured him is the seat.

joker always placed a bag over his head and every single time he pulled off the bag Jayson's eyes were full of fear. He begged for the joker to stop, losing all his hope for anything different, he begged for his partner, he begged for someone he once considered his father, he begged the bat to come but no matter how hard he was hit, how much he screamed...... HE. NEVER. CAME.

He loved being a Robin the fame, the rush, kicking ass with his partner. It  was the best thing that had ever happened to him.  but now ,Now he knows what it really was.

His days leading up to the event didn't make the days he spent with the joker any easier, knowing the last thing he said to the bat was. "I DON'T NEED TO LISTEN TO YOU!, you always have the guts to start a fight but never enough to finish it. Villains have gotten ENOUGH time out of bars, you're not my partner, you're not my dad , you're NOTHING to me" and with that Jayson took off and Bruce was speechless Alfred soon came into view offering Bruce some tea.

"master Bruce, I'm sure master Todd did not mean what he said" The billionaire sighed taking the tea but immediately putting it to the side. This is the fifth argument they've had this month, but this one was the worst.

"I'm just worried, I don't want him to do something he'll regret, that's the whole reason I try to  protect him...from himself ".from the moment he met Jason, and caught him trying to steal from the billionaire he new there was something special about Jayson he saw this, this well...spark in him , it amazed him and it still dose but he isn't ready yet and that's something Jayson was tired of hearing from the bat.

To him it showed that  Bruce couldn't trust him to make the hard calls, but Jayson soon released that Bruce could barely make any himself. The joker could have been dead YEARS AGO, yet  he still pranced around Gotham with that sickening smile. hundreds of lives lost with the joker caught red-handed on the scene ,but all bats did was continue the cycle. Almost like a rivalry and Jayson was sick of it. bats, GCPD and even other villains didn't have the guts to take down the killing joke but Jayson, Jayson did and he was going to prove that, tonight.

this time not even Bruce nor anyone else could prevent what happened that night.

( ok this is a double upload for the week since I haven't updated in ages the next chapter is still in the works . this is kinda a short story I came up with I don't know if it should continue but I'll leave it up to you guys btw the next chapter is a part one to a Connor x reader so you can read that straight after this)
