Cabin 11 they told me. Or more specifically Hermes (the god of travelers) Cabin. They explained that until I get claimed, which is when your godly parent says "Hey you are my son/daughter!", I have to stay there. I have no idea why it takes so long if they are all-powerful beings. My "parent" could be any male god because I know who my mother is. Once I find out I will move to my respective cabin, pretty much a shrine to the god. I was planning on staying a while, but as soon as I stepped into Cabin 11 I knew I was leaving. The kids here looked depressed. I asked Annebeth and she said it's because this cabin gets a lot of unclaimed campers and some of them never get claimed. I can sympathize with that, never knowing who your mom/dad is just because they don't want you to know. I am getting off-topic, back to me leaving. Since I am an elf and my dad, whoever he is, is not a god I will never be claimed meaning I would have to live in cabin 11 FOREVER. Which is never going to happen. You might be asking why I don't leave now and I have 2 answers. 1: the food is AMAZING, 2: I have a plan. If I learn all I can about these people and tell the Elvin council maybe I can get unbanned? Okay I know, not the best plan, but I HATE it here. I can't take off my gloves because I haven't found a way to block my enhancing so I had to tell everybody that I was a germaphobe. I don't need to block, but I can still feel their minds and that gets annoying quick! And I just miss Grady and Edaline and... Keefe and Fitz and EVERYBODY!

I have been here for 5 days and I am ready to ditch the plan and leave. I have my backpack in hand and am leaving the cabin when I hear someone screaming!

"PERCY!"

I race over to the sound of yelling, this leads to the Athena cabin. I barge in ready to fight any monster that got through the barrier.

___short exploitation brought to you by the so considerate Mr. Forkle____

Monsters from 'down below' come to here and attack demigods. The "Mist" blocks normal humans from seeing anything out of the ordinary. The barrier stops monsters and mortals from coming inside the camp. I think I can walk in because technically Elves live indefinitely so I am not mortal. Demigods are normally found by a satyr (a goat person) because they can smell demigods. Monsters can too. So happy I am not one, I don't want to have a sent. Grover, the satyr, says I smell different but am still a demigod.

___end of explanation ___

I am in the Athena cabin and see all Athena's children on the wall staring at a point at the floor. all of them look terrified and are sweating. I look at the point where they are starting and see a spider. A tiny spider!

"What's up?"

"Can you kill the spider?" Annebeth speaks up from her spot on the wall. Never taking her eyes off the tiny spider.

I go over to the spider prepared to step on it when I see its eyes, 8 in total, and I remember Hvaenfeild. I can't kill an animal. We have not been giving anything meat so they don't know I am a vegetarian. I crouch down and try to grab the spider but she runs away. All of Athena's children jump.

"Just kill it already!" half yells half whispers Annabeth.

"I can't kill an animal!"

I open my head up to the spider's thoughts and send it warm happy feelings.

(asterisk means *telepathic convo*)

*What's wrong? Come here* I send it some nice pictures of me taking care of other creatures in Havenfeild and continue making it feel safe. I notice I have closed my eyes and open them to see a spider on my hand, Athenas' children terrified and Percy with his shoe in his hand ready to smack the spider.
