Holidays can be a struggle

The day had come, it was here the day I was going to meet my actual birth mother.

"How do you imagine her?" Klaus asked me sitting on the side of the couch stroking my head

"I'm not sure if I can, what if she hates me?" I say back saying seriously

"I don't think anyone could hate you" he says

About 11a.m I heard someone knocking, I was so nervous. I went and opened the door, a woman stood there wearing a red top on, she had black hair, like she brushes her hair every two minuites, let's just say a lot posher than I expected.

"Come in, come in" I said my voice shaky

Klaus came up behind me and grabbed me by my waist, knowing I was struggling.

"Come in Mrs.Sidare" Klaus said looking at her

I could see her staring at Klaus' hands on my waist, I think it made him uncomfortable, because he quickly ripped them away like I stung him.

We went and sat on the couch, Klaus looked at me asking if he should leave, so I nodded.

"So ho-" before I could finish the second word I was interrupted

"So is that your........Mate?" She said looking at her nails

"Why?" I said curiously

"He killed you, if you stick with him you're obviously gonna get killed, he has so many enemies" she said trying to brain wash me

"He has stuck by me for everything!" I shout back

"But does he really mean it, he may think he means it but he actually doesn't"

"You are the one that left me with a family I didn't know! Why?!"

"That is a long story, Kaytianara"

"Dont call me that!"

"But it's your name"

"No, as soon as you left me everything changed!"

Klaus must have heard and ran in as I stood up he grabbed me and walked me out the room, I felt really hurt and weak, Klaus took me up to our/his room.

He went back downstairs after that.

I felt soo angry I went strait downstairs and bashed through the doors.

"What the hell do you think your doing?!" I screamed

"If you love her you will walk away, for her sake, and I don't want anything to do with my daughter unless she gets a real life, that she will be able to live, normally" she said standing up and walking away

Rebekah ran in

"Nil, what the hell is going on?!" She yelled at me

What Kayti's mom had just said made me think, too much.

Something on went on the next morning, Nik and Kay didn't speak much.

"So how do you to lucky beggars feel going to Paris tomorrow!" I said trying to break the silence

"Yeah" Kayti said softly

What my mom had said hit me really really hard, maby she was right, I had also been having dreams about Klaus ripping out my heart that's all I had dreamt about not just since yesterday but for the last three days, I hadent told anything because you know it was worded.

And if it I had never met Klaus I wouldn't be a vampire, but then I would have probably died. So I thought maby it was just nightmares or something.

But Klaus wouldent speak to me since yesterday.

"So are You excited for our trip tomorrow, Klaus?" I said cutting up a big orange

But I got no answer, so I looked at him I looked straight at his face, and then I looked back at Rebekah.

"Nik come here a minute" she said

Klaus walked out the room in front of Rebekah.

"What's going on?" Rebekah asked me

"Nothing, I don't know what your talking about, sister" I answered

"Is this because of Kayti's mom?"

"I don't know who your talking about" I said back

I thought maby if I pretend Kayti's not there, she will get mad and leave, then she would be safe.
