Hope

I sit at the base of a great oak tree,
I cover myself in soil,
I release my roots,
To allow the old to disolve,

I breathe in and out,
It helps me cope,
My mind will soar,
To achieve my hope,

I am greeted by a Cheetah,
It showed me there is nothing to fear,
Instead I should embrace my pain,
To allow myself to feel,

So I did just that,
I felt so much,
I cried and it felt so good,
The things held inside can no longer stay,

Thats when I noticed a door,
It's always been there,
I was never aware until now,
Its an entry point to more,

It shows me the route,
It isn't an easy pathway,
Yet it is beautiful,
My story is still to be discovered.
