Did you see me at the party?
I was sitting in the corner,
I saw you drinking booze,
While I was drinking juice.
Did you see me at school?
You were talking to her.
I watched as your lips moved...
Word for word.
Did you see me drive pass your house?
You were standing next to your sister.
You had a conversation.
I saw you laugh with her
While I cried on the inside.
Did you see me at home?
I smiled
Yet I cried myself to sleep.
I woke up
To go to school
to walk up to you,
Approach you
For only you to tell me...
"Hi,meet my girlfriend."
I shrunk
Because all I wanted to say was
"I like you..."
