The Tale of Uchiha Sadako

Itachi's POV

I watched Sadako and Sasuke play tag with each other while I sat under the tree at the training grounds. I have to say one thing, they don't act like little kids. Especially Sadako. I remember the day she had opened her eyes, she was looking around as if trying to understand where she was and what was happening around. She has always been the quiet kid like me. She wouldn't speak up like Sasuke does when he wants me to play with him. She merely looks at me to see if I am busy so that she doesn't end up disturbing me. Other kids of that age don't do that. They whine until they get scolded or the adults agree to give them what they want.

I don't think she ever noticed but sometimes when she looks at us it's almost like she is questioning our existence, even if subconsciously, but it feels like she is. I repeat once again, KIDS DON'T DO THAT.

I heard from Shisui about what happened the day she was kidnapped. About how she had escaped when she was kidnapped. I don't get it, there is no way she could have dealt with those shinobi, that's just absurd...but Shisui seems to believe that. HOW COULD HE BELIEVE SOMETHING LIKE THAT? COME ON, SHE'S FOUR RIGHT NOW.

She loves to look at the stars but at times when she is staring up at the sky, it seems as if she is lost in her own little world. She has that nostalgic expression when she looks up at the sky. A FOUR YEAR OLD DOES NOT HAVE NOSTALGIA, THAT'S RIDICULOUS.

She loves to sing(when no one is around or when she thinks no one is around) I have caught her on instances, singing in god knows what language, but it is calming. She has a sweet voice.

Sometimes she speaks of stuff I've never heard of before but when I asks her about it she seems just as confused.

But the more she is growing up, the more she is starting to act of her age.

But even with all this confusing stuff, she is still my little sister.

Sasuke's POV

Sadako chan and I were playing tag. We were playing together after a long time. Onii san had joined us but he was sitting under the tree. Onii san became very busy since he became a genin so we don't get to spend much time with him, But today he had a day off so we asked him to come play with us...but he was tired so he said that he will sit by the tree and Sadako and I can play. He had promised to buy us whatever we wanted from granny's shop later.

Sa–chan was running and I was chasing her. She seemed a little uninterested in the game. Well no...not exactly uninterested but a she was a bit distracted. She's like that though. She gets distracted a LOT, but not when she is reading something. Nope, she won't get distracted while reading, even if you shout in her ears.

She is very quiet, very very quiet, waaay too quiet. We are like...total opposites

I whine. She doesn't.

I am loud. She is quiet.

I love to play. She doesn't.

I don't like to read much. She does.

I don't like sweets. She does.

I hate being alone(because it's scary). She doesn't mind being alone at all.

I am pretty good at talking to the strangers. She isn't.

We are different in so many ways but she is my sweet twin sister. I will protect her from all the bad people. Okaa san says that no matter what I should stand up for my sister and I will because I love my sister, I will be a good brother so that she will always be happy.

Shisui's POV

I watched the chibis play with each other. I had just returned from a mission and was on my way back to my house but I saw the two playing in the grounds and Itachi sitting by a tree so I decided to join them.

I walked up to them. Sadako noticed me but didn't say anything, and Sasuke...Well he was too immersed in the game to notice his surroundings. I swear he is going to fall if he doesn't know what's around him.

Sadako, this little girl has never failed to surprise me. Everything about her is in too's. She is too calm, too quiet, too small(height is a sensitive topic for her, she is shorter than most kids of her age), too shy, too mature for her age, too much into reading, too much of a thinker(thinks a LOT, god knows what), too good with colors (loves to draw), too good of a singer for her age(she sings, again, in god knows what language but the songs are good), oh ya too cute and too clumsy. Yup, she is hell clumsy. She keeps a track of her surroundings and all but she still ends up falling aaaand she did.

I watched her with an amused expression as she rubbed her nose and while Sasuke tried his best not to panic. Yup, that girl is someone we can never fully understand, she's full of mysteries. The way she observes everything around her, the way she talks and walks, I'm sure there is more to this girl than what meets the eye.
