Chapter 6

Yume's POV:

I was just sitting in the garden drinking tea while watching the view until.

"CAW SUIMIN-SAMA YOU ARE SUMMONED BY OYAKATA-SAMA CAW  FOR HASHIRA MEETING CAW" taiko  said 'I wonder what it is about?' I thought as I grabbed my crescent moon mask walking or more like running to the ubuyashiki estate
When I reached there, there stood the other pillars who seemed to be talking to a boy lying in the ground. As I looked closer I noticed it was tanjiro but I guess I arrived late because shinazugawa-San was lying in the ground unconscious

When I went near everyone stopped talking and watched in shock in what I'm doing to tanjiro. I was patting his head "don't worry boy I won't let anyone touch your little sister but it looks to be I arrived late" I said in my kind and gentle voice flashing tanjiro a close eyed smile which he'll only see my left eye

"SUIMIN!! WHY ARE YOU HELPING THIS BOY WHO IS TOWING A UGLY DEMON WITH HIM!!" shinazugawa-San said with a irritated look in his face "I'm sure the boy has reasons to why he's doing this" I said with kindness in my voice, everyone was shock except for mitsuri-Chan since she heard my voice first before all of the pillars

Before shinazugawa-San was about to speak two voices interrupted him "the master is here" oyakata-sama's daughters announced

"so proud you came beloved children"
Oyakata-sama said in a gentle tone

"I'm happy to so you in good health as well oyakata-sama. I pray that it stays that way"

'as expected shinazugawa-San would act that way towards oyakata-sama' I thought still keeping my kind and gentle smile'

"before we start this meeting could you pls enlighten us on what is going on, master" shinazugawa-San started
'I have feeling something wrong is going to happen'

"Right, I apologize for startling you. About tanjiro and nezuko, I analyzed their situation"

'if you're trying to say that we will have to accept it I already have, oyakata-sama' I thought

I was still in gaze until my attention was back when one of oyakata-sama's daughter pull out a letter which looks to be from urokodaki-san

"I shall read a shortened version of this letter"

"pls allow tanjiro to be accompanied by his demon sister nezuko. Because of her resilient and mental strength, nezuko has never lost humanity. Even though she may be a demon, even in her starved state she never ate a human, and this had held true for 2 years. Although the situation seems impossible, it is an indisputable fact. If in the event assaults a human, tanjiro kamado as well as sakonji urokodaki, giyuu tomioka and yume suimin along with her two sisters will atone by committing seppuku"

"why must you join to committing seppuku suimin? that is not flamboyant" asked uzui-san

"because" I hold the chin part of my mask then

I revealed my face which held a gentle and kind smile that is genuine, my eyes that held honesty and kindness is revealed

"I promised my own aunt and uncle, that I will protect nezuko and tanjiro with all my life for they are my beloved cousins" I said turning to uzui-san with my gentle smile, all of the hashiras are speechless after seeing my face and tanjiro was in tears after finding out I was his cousin

"back to the point, so what if they commit seppuku? If they want to die, then rot to death for all I care! It's not guarantee that she won't eat anyone, and once that happens we can't take it back!"

"shinazugawa is right! We can't come back from that! It won't bring back the person who was killed"

"you have a point" oyakata-sama said

"in that case......"

"I know my cousin, I know That he is telling the truth. Why you ask? I sense honesty around him" I cutted oyakata-sama, having my gentle smile still in my face

'yume you dumb girl that is very rude, oh my! Have I turned rude for protecting my cousins what should I do now' I thought as I mentally paled

"forgive me oyakata-sama for cutting you off, pls do continue" I stated as my cheeks became red of embarrassment

"it's fine yume"

"as I was saying, you all have a point we can't guarantee that she won't attack people. We can't prove it. That being said we also can't prove that she will" oyakata-sama stated

'I feel a angry feeling beside me but it's not tanjiro' I thought, still keeping the gentle smile I turned to shinazugawa-san

"the fact that she refrained from devouring humans for more than two years. I also trust what yume said about her cousin telling the truth for she has an incredible power, she may sense if that person is stating a lie or not" oyakata-sama said

'oyakata-sama, you really didn't have to say that. But thank you for trusting my senses'

Everyone was staring at me in awe until oyakata-sama continued talking

"do you all have the will to accept her? But there is something I must tell you my children.... "

At this point everyone was listening very attentively

"tanjiro here has met kibutsuji"

'oh no! Everyone will start to bombard questions on poor tantan' (this is the nickname she always call tanjiro)
