Dahyun came in late one morning, seeing her office in a mess, and the culprits? Her assistant-Sana's two sons coloring the furniture with permanent markers.
"What the actual f-" She mumbled, eyes widened, temperature rising. "Who are these boys?!"
It's just another day, back to their regular working schedule. The four had so much fun in Jeju Island. Even though they weren't able to visit more places as they planned. In a way, it had been more fun than Sana and the kids' last travel there, and they couldn't be more thankful to Dahyun for that.
But something seemed to have changed ever since they got back. Dahyun is avoiding Sana, and it is not only Sana who noticed that. "What happened to Dahyun? Something's off with her, don't you think?" Momo asked Jihyo while they peeked on the glass wall to the CEO's office.
"Yeah," Jihyo agreed, furrowing her brows in confusion, "plus I have never seen her smile for like three days now," she added. "Even to Sana," and that is when both of them realized.
"Could it be?" Momo asked.
"Ah, that's unlikely to happen. Our Dahyunie wouldn't confess to Sana. I mean, she's timid, you know when it comes to her." Jihyo uttered, but then deep inside she knew, that is the only possible reason for Dahyun's sudden sadness. "It—might...be," she took back.
"But where is Sana now? I didn't see her this morning," Momo puckered her lips, started looking around. "Did she take a day off?"
Jihyo pushed her a little, "ya, how am I supposed to know that? Would she tell me something like that?" she hissed.
"I'm just asking! You don't need to push—"
"Please go back to your places. Stop peeking here," the two immediately stopped, stood straight after hearing Dahyun's voice. They did not realize that the woman is already at the door. "Go now," she requested before going inside once again.
"She's supposed to be yelling at us," Jihyo could only press her lips together, placing a hand on her chin as if she's trying to investigate.
Momo had to pull her back to where they belong, "let's stop. If Dahyun has a problem, she'll tell us for sure," she said.
