The Cold came with a bang
It came during the night
It came so intense and lingered over my head, watching me.
It touch me and I cringed, the cold was freezing.
He sat by my feet contemplating whether it should go away but it stayed. The cold cold smiled at me and whispered one word:
"Death," he said, and then he left.

The cold came with a shout and it came at dawn.
It came so intense, and lingered over my head.
He came in a new form, darker this time.
It hugged my body and I was absorbed in the cold.
I cried because the cold was spreading.
From my head to my chest to me heart to my thighs to my legs to my toes.
It stayed in my body and I thought about what the cold wanted to do.
It smiled at me and whispered one word which was
"Death"
The cold now done it finished its work.
But it couldn't leave without one tiny thing
It left with my one final breath
