Sarah woke the next morning rubbing the sleep out of her eyes for she couldn't remember how she got to her room. Sarah then freshened up, changed her clothes then went to find her friends. Grabbing some breakfast from the kitchen Sarah didn't feel guilty about breaking their deal anymore, not after last night. Sarah ran into Ludo he was laughing and having a jolly time with the goblins, surprisingly he was helping them clean up the castle it had become and awful mess, "Sarah awake" Ludo said she ran over to hug her friend."You know Ludo your not a prison you don't have to clean the castle" Ludo shook is head "Castle shinny,"
"Yeah I guess you're right and it dose look nicer in here." The goblins where fascinated with Ludo and his relationship with the rocks. "Do your know where Didymus it?"
"He Out side"
"Oh and what about Hoggle?" Ludo looked around in different directions 'No" He said disappointed. Sarah then held Ludo's hand while they traveled outside. Sr Didymus was in the courtyards in charge of training the army, running them through drills and practicing new moves. Didymus bowed "Ah, my lady your up"
"Good morning I'm sorry I didn't say goodnight last night I was so tired I don't even remember how I got to my room,"
"It was the king fair maiden he brought you to your room and then came and checked on us," Sr Didymus paused for a moment "You know I'm starting to think he is not the horrible beast we all thought he was."
"I'm starting to think that too." Sr Didymus had to get back to his work and Ludo wanted to go back to his goblin friends then had plans to visit his friends the rocks. Since her friends were so busy Sarah took it upon herself to get to know the castle, if she was going to be living here the rest of her life she should know her way around. Eventually Sarah became lost, searching for something framiler she Saw Jareth walking up the stairs and she decided to fallow him until she reached a recognisable hallway. Sarah followed him around corners, down hallways through doors and up stair cases. Just like she once did with Toby. Jareth finally sensed Sarah following him so he hid around a corner waiting to surprise her, when Sarah finally caught up Jareth made her jump by saying "First you avoid me now you keep following me,"
Still trying to catch her breath Sarah said "Oh well... I got lost but I know where I am now," when really she still didn't know,
Jareth smiled at her fondly "I'm sorry we haven't had much time to spend together being king keeps me busy," Her took a step towards her and put his hands on her shoulders "Why don't we have lunch together this afternoon?" Sarah nodded and Jareth walked off.
trying to find her way Sarah stumbled across a library filled with endless amounts of books, Sarah enjoyed reading about the history of the castle and the under ground. Deep down Sarah still wasn't completely sure about Jareths feelings for her she knew hers for certain but why was he doing all these nice things for her?was the goblin even capable of love? Or maybe he just wanted to possess it.
After lunch Jareth asked Sarah is she would walk with him outside there was no need for him to hurry back. Jareth took Sarah way out into the field "what are we doing out here?"
"I remember what you said the other night, about how you wanted to know what it was like to fly"
"Hmmm mmm"
"Well I have something to show you"
"You mean there's more?" Sarah asked, Jareth smiled then pointed to a creature with the body of a horse but it had wings like a bird, "What is it?" asked Sarah
"She belonged to a friend of mine she's rather gentle, there's no need to be afraid of her." Sarah walked up to pet the creature on the neck and Jareth was right. "I think she may let you ride her now,"
