Whoop here's another story I wrote yesterday out of no-wifi induced boredom. Enjoy I guess?

Btw it's with my crush Tyler and I. For myself I use they/them pronouns, since that's what I prefer. Now, onto the story.

In walked a girl with long, slightly frizzy brown hair and muted pale blue eyes. They were about 5 feet tall, and had a rather slender figure. They wore a dark gray Northface jacket with pink hems. With that was a black shirt with various neon-colored letters printed on it. They also wore blue skinny jeans and deep brown BearPaw Ugg-like boots. Resting on their head were cool gray and lime green-marked Skullcandy headphones. Those were connected to what is assumed to be a mobile phone via long cord in this mystery girl's pocket of their jacket. The music they probably were listening to was inaudible, but you could tell by the way they slightly nodded in rythmic fashion that it was good.

Across the room, the unnamed girl saw something, or someone, that caught their eye. An excited, curious, and surprised expression danced across their face. They took out the now-existing iPhone out of their jacket pocket, tapped the screen once, put the phone back inside the safety of their pocket, knocked back the headphones with her right hand so they lay on their hair-covered shoulders, and proceeded forward to address the thing that caught their eye. They practically bolted over to another side if the room, and sat down in a chair next to another person. In front of these chairs were a table with computers placed on them.

"Hey, Tyler! I didn't know you were invited!" They said with excitement.

The girl was clearly ecstatic to see this boy, an about 3-4 inch shorter male, "Tyler" as they called him. He had short, brunette hair, dark eyes, and a seemingly part Asian face. His frame was petite and small to say the least. The unknown girl partially envied it. He wore a V-neck purple shirt, jeans, as well as blue and white hi-top sneakers.

With "Tyler" was another male, one slightly taller than the first. He had a not as small and skimpy frame; his matched the girls's more. He had dark brown; almost black, very short hair with wire glasses. He also wielded wide, chocolate brown eyes. His outfit was mostly blue, but a few other primary colors vested in it. Without a doubt, the two guys were friends. The girl seemed to be in the group too.

"..Sup." Tyler replied nonchalantly.

"Hey, Lauren, I wanna show you something." Tyler said to the girl who we now know as "Lauren". He started to open some things on the computer in front of him.

"Okay then. I swear to god, Tyler, if it's something disturbing..." Lauren agrees, a light blush creeping onto their freckled face. It was just Tyler's nature to do that kind of stuff. Mislead his friends into seeing something they shouldn'tve seen.

"It's not disturbing! Hold on.." Tyler reassures Lauren, letting out a few chuckles, probably lying in the process.

Within a few clicks, a cool Valentine's card design with the words I like you appeared on Tyler's computer screen. It had been created in Microsoft Word, and was pretty good for a 6th grader.

Lauren's light blush slightly deepened.

"Dude, that's cool. I don't really see why you would need that, though." Lauren questioned, slightly puzzled. It was pretty obvious that they had romantic feelings for Tyler, and Lauren was half-wondering if Tyler would confess his fantasized 'love' for Lauren that they had made up.

"..Uh.. I'm printing this out for somebody that I like. Would this be too cheesy, or not?" Tyler asked Lauren, clearly needing advice on the matter.

Tyler's face didn't change in redness that much, but from the 2nd guy's unnamed point of view, you could clearly tell his nervousness levels were increasing.

"Tyler, I already told you my opinion on it, and I told you that it's fine. Why do you need her critique?" The 2nd guy curiously questioned Tyler. His voice had a serious tone to it.

"Well, she's a girl, Jonothan. I'm giving this to a girl, so I want to know what a girl would think before I go and give it to her and blow it." Tyler replied, clearly flustered now, even from Lauren's view of him.

"Jonothan" didn't reply. He simply nodded his head. Jonothan and Tyler appear close friends, and he understands Tyler's got a stressful crush at the moment. It was even more stressful when that crush was right next to him, blushing moderately.

Lauren was okay with being called "she" and "her" when with their real-life friends, because if they said that they wanted "they" and "them" pronouns, their friends would just get confused. Also, they didn't blame them. They are a cisgender girl, after all.

"Well... I'm liking the overall design of it. I'd be flattered if I got this." Lauren answered, being completely honest. Wow, whoever's getting this sure is a lucky girl. They thought to themself.

"Awesome. Uh, thanks." Tyler thanked Lauren. He then took out some scissors and set them down at one side of his keyboard. He moved the mouse to File, then Print. Tyler selected a printer, the default one the computer was set to print to. Lauren quickly scanned the room, and caught sight of a medium-sized white printer about 10 feet away from where they were seated. Taped to it was a laminated sign that said Feel free to use on it.

Tyler clicked Print, and in a matter of seconds, paper started sliding out of a narrow opening at the base of the machine. He then got up out of his seat to collect the mini-project he has created.

Before Tyler had even gotten back to his friends, Lauren had already gotten up to see one of their other friends who had showed up to this after-school party, too. Tyler was, if anything, relieved to see them vanish. He could fill the stupid valentine out without them noticing.

While Lauren was busy at another location in the large room, Tyler was still at that same desk with the same computer since the 2 hours when he arrived here. He tried to make this as special as possible, since the girl he was planning to give this to was very important to him. Tyler could barely write his own name after the "From: " space on the printed paper, he was so giddy with romance.

Lauren will love this, Tyler told himself.

Before Tyler made the 100-mile walk that seemed to take centuries over to Lauren to give them the gift of his affection, Jonothan tells Tyler something he used for years to come.

"Go and tell her how you really feel."
