Clouded flakes

Clouded flakes covered the transparent glasses,
Window panes wiping the cold.
A man of winter smiling at the sky.
Blue is what made him bold.
Little did he know the golden sun,
Would not be his source of warmth.
For when blue could shade his palette,
And strike the brush back and forth.

" I knew you were meant to stay!"
He whispered to the snowman.
Little did he know a storm could,
Swipe away what man can't.
"Mum" the dainty hands reached.
She held him tight and let him sob.
"Dear Lou, there would be none like you,
You are different from the mob."

When the branches were clenching,
The leaves while they were frozen.
He hoped one day they fall.
For suffering was for the chosen,
He thought to himself what would it be.
If one could soak the rays.
Could one melt in it's embrace.
Or in the presence of the greens just lay.

Snow world's mountain,
His young years were spent there.
A moment to smile due to the artificial,
White layer.
Hot chocolate to add to the mornings with dew.
Candles decorated and lights all around.
He glimpsed, the crinkles beamed.
He thought the cheers and carols, were celebrating him on the ground.

The winter child could notice,
Growing up was a new act.
He wanted to stay forever young.
For the actor never knew the impact.
Once he reached a point,
Where his natural behavior would be accepted,
He would never come back from the place,
He would never get deflected.
