Inside Sullivan's mansion in the brink of dusk, the phone rings and Opera picked it up to be talking with Sullivan.

"In jail?" Asked Opera.

"Yeah..." Replied Sullivan, still in jail, "They're insisting that when I entered the human world, I did so illegally. Demon Border Control's questioning me."

"I see. So, how long will your sentence be?" Asked Opera.

"Whose side are you on anyway?! They're just questioning me!" Shouted Sullivan.

Opera then asked if this was a false accusation, Sullivan told him yes, but whispering not that authorities will even figure out that he actually did cross into the human world to pick up Ryūko and Iruma.

"You just confessed." Countered Opera.

"Well, regardless... Something's definitely off here." Whispered Sullivan, "I'm sure Isabelle, Ryūko, and Iruma are so worried about me that they can't even eat. I hate to think about them starving."

However, the stacks of empty plates from Iruma's food said otherwise; Ryūko and Isabelle already cleaned their plates on their own, not that they needed to rely on Opera for it and the fact that they are already quite independent.

"Actually, Miss Isabelle is currently preoccupied with her tablet right now. As for the twins, they're... engrossed in their after-dinner games." Said Opera, "And surprisingly, Miss Ryūko is able to study her book at the same time because of having her extra pair of eyes."

"They're gaming?! No fair, no fair, no fair! I'm getting out of here soon!" Exclaimed Sullivan, "Coming home and definitely going to the Battler Party! Make sure Isabelle, Ryūko, and Iruma don't stay up too late and keep themselves warm! Oh, and make sure to soothe Isabelle's room with mild perfume and read my grandkids a bedtime story! Also, be sure to tell them that I still love them very much even though we're so far apart."

"Sure." Ended Opera.

Ryūko paused the game, put down her Pharmaceutics textbook and turned her head to the cat demon.

"Grandfather has yet to return home?" Asked Ryūko.

"He won't be back for a while because something came up, but he says there's nothing to worry about."

"I see. I just hope he'll be able to be back in time for the Battler party." Said Ryūko before she resumed the game and picked her book in her left hand while her right hand's fingers tap on the control's buttons.

She was able to beat Iruma's game character in a mere minute. The television screen indicated Iruma's loss.

"Wow, Sis, not only can you study while doing other things at the same time, but you're still quite merciless in video games." Commented Iruma.

"I apologize for that. Do you wish for me to go easy on you?" Asked Ryūko.

"No need!" Said Iruma, "I'll win against you eventually! I think..."

"Hahaha. Okay then." Replied Ryūko, "As they say in the United States of America, "break a leg"."

"Wait, I literally break a leg?!" Asked Iruma.

"No, no. Ryūko meant it 'good luck'. It's just an idiom." Corrected Isabelle.

The Next Day

The demon version of Parents' Day, the Battler Party, was only a few short days away. And all of the first-years at the demon school Babylus are understandably nervous. The Misfit Class was no exception.
