24) Culprit

Piya's POV

When I wake up I was still wrap in Abhay's arm and I feel him caressing my back. I look up to find him thinking something lost.

"When you wake up?" I whispered, he looks down at me smiling softly. I noticed his eyes and frown..."you didn't sleep" I moved little away, he must feel uncomfortable in staying same position and also I slept over his hand.

"I'm okay piya" he said again taking me in his arms. I sigh sadly and caressed his hand, I thought about suddenly that car..."Abhay what about that car who hit me? Mom said there's a FIR but they still didn't found the driver"

"Mom told you? You shouldn't think all this Piya" I rolled my eyes, of course I'll think about that crazy driver who hit me and didn't stop.

"I need to know Abhay. He might notice Aru from far but still he didn't stop. Even after hitting me he run away, he didn't stop" I explained, Abhay's face showing how much angry he is, I squeezed his hand to calm him little.

"That car is stolen and we rescue it from a highway but we didn't get the driver till now" listing him it seems very suspicious..."btw I didn't asked before. You called me before accident-" i nodes and explain him my meeting with Siddharth and what his father threatened.

"That bastard." He cursed, he helped me to get up slowly..."you don't have to worry about him. There's nothing he can do now." I frown confused then realised. He already destroyed them.

"What happened?" I asked, I know what Raj Singhania is type but Siddharth is innocent and his life is in enough mess. I couldn't help but worry about him...he still is my friend at least.

"Their company is in debt now and last I heard their home will sealed soon" I didn't say anything. He helped me to go washroom but it was very difficult to have a sponge bath by myself so I accepted Abhay's offer. It was matter of time that I feel all aroused by his touch, he really had a great effect on me.

"Stop thinking naughty Piya"

"Shut up" I scoff trying to hide my red cheeks. He helped me to get dress, finally I'm ready. I stay in my room after breakfast with mom and Aru. Abhay & Dad already in there's office.

"Mom I think we should move back. Aru had school. Her exams are coming" I suggested, before for trip to London she already miss school. It wasn't good.

"Piya for some exams school is already having holiday. Don't worry much, our Aru will still rank top 3" I caressed Aru's head who was sitting beside me hugging me.

"Mumma when you'll again run?"

"Soon Aru. Maybe after 2 months" she pout and  suddenly run out without answering my and mom's questions.

"Where she left?"

"Let me check" before mom could go, Aru come back with sketch pens.

"Mumma let's make it pretty" I smile at her fully, I'm glad she is safe. She started drawing and talking about her trip to London, how she and Janvi enjoyed...in between mom had some calls so left. Then suddenly I heart Aru talking about the things she brought. She suddenly stop nervous and I stiffened.

"Sorry mumma, dad and dadi said not to say that to you" I nodes.

"Where was all toys you brought for baby?" Yes Aru brought toys for her upcoming sister/ brother. She thought to show it me after sometime, when she will talk to doctor about send baby soon.

"In store room. They put it in big box" I nodes.

"Mumma don't cry. You're not healthy so doctor cancel about baby I know. Soon after you get healthy we'll again talk to doctor"she whispered,  I hug her close, she is so innocent and loves me so much. I wipes my tears.

I'll come back mom one day mom

I remember in my dreams what my baby boy said and smile little..."yes Aru your brother/Sister will come later when everything will be alright." She nodes and start her drawing. In afternoon after lunch everyone gone to take a nape. My phone ring.

An unknown number?!

"Hello?" I asked confused.

"I heard you're still alive" my eyes get wide hearing Raj Singhania's voice. His words register and I feel extreme anger.

"What the hell you mean?" I yelled.

"Sadly your husband's daughter is still alive. But now you should realise I wasn't joking. Give me back what Abhay took from me. Otherwise next time it will be another member of your family" he threatened me, I was shocked to hear. Suddenly the dreams, vision I get hit me. I vaguely remember one glance I had on driver which seems familiar. It was HIM.

"You bloody bastard, asshole. What you think you're doing. First you took everything from dad and again you play dirty with Abhay and now this. It's you who tried to hit my daughter" I scram, I was boiling in anger. If he would be in front of me....I would strangle him. I just wanted to kill him. He laughs evilly. I put the record options.how fool I was. I should do it earlier.

"You know I lost my baby. It was your son's. What if Siddharth get to know it was his father who killed his child and about your illegal activities" I want to had his confession again so I revoke him.

"Stop it. My son doesn't want a low life like yours child. It should be more better if you died in that. Warn your husband" saying he cut the call. I couldn't control and cried hard. It was him because of I lost my baby. With help of crutches I went towards store room and find out the box.

I open it slowly and caressed all the toys aru brought. It belongs to both genders. I cried hugging them...my phone again ring and now it's Abhay.

I had warn him. What if he again did something. At the same time he needs to be published.

I pick his call and broke down..."Abhay....he...my baby...he" I couldn't complete and crying.

"Piya what happened. Please relax. Calm down. Tell me what's wrong" he sounds so tensed, I could hear him moving. Maybe he was coming.

"Abhay Raj Singhania called" I whispered and told him everything.

"Piya don't cry, I'll make sure he rot in jail. Please calm down" I can't, it wasn't accident. My baby was murdered. I couldn't stop crying, I feel I couldn't breathe. Suddenly black dots hit me.
