“sshhh omygod you're gonna make them spot us!”“haechan, i just breathed.”
“mark, exactly.” haechan said pointing his lollipop to the other.
it was not a normal day, at all.
it was jisung's birthday today, and chenle was nowhere to be found.
“where the fuck is chenle? i haven't seen him and jisung will be coming in like five to ten minutes?”
“hyuck shut up or i will choke you, lele said he was getting something important. he also noted that we should greet jisung first when he arrives even if he isn't here.”
“i hope that 'thing' chenle has to get is really important. i will literally kill him if i find out he had to get a banner from nana screaming happy birthday jisung bae.”
“guys he's coming shut your mouths!” renjun informed and warned all of them. they get into their positions, waiting for jisung to come in any moment.
jisung walks in and he widened his eyes at the noise of a party popper.
“surprise! happy birthday jisung-ah!” all of them greeted the celebrant. jisung smiled and thanked all of them. it was a cliche surprise party, but he nevertheless liked it.
while he was thanking all of the people, he can't help but look for a specific head. big head to be exact.
he turned around here and there but there were no signs of chenle. he just chuckled thinking the other had a surprise too, in his sleeve.
the guests were already eating and the chattering filled the whole room. he was there roaming around, occasionally asking guests if they were all right.
he sat down at a chair and closed his eyes, he was a little bit exhausted walking around but then he heard some noise.
“pst! jisung! come here!” there was chenle, peeking from the door.
curiously, he obliged and went to the room the other was in. it was full of balloons and decor. and there was a banner that jisung can't help but laugh at.
“why you should date jisung, a banner by chenle (nana)” jisung chuckled but he still read the content. it was just chenle saying jisung was kind, caring, handsome, tall, talented, and all other compliments he could give jisung. a small blush travelled to the taller one.
jisung can't help but laugh at the ending words of the banner.
“BUT DON'T DATE JISUNG! HE'S MINE >:-(” jisung laughed a lot.
“hey! i wrote that with my whole heart!” chenle pouted and jisung just noticed what the older was wearing.
a bear costume, but not the big and excessive one. a bear costume that manages to show chenle's body proportions. oh how he would like to hug that waist and kiss him here.
“you can do it you know? come here.” chenle motioned his hands and jisung obliged, hugging the older and burying his head onto the older's shoulder.
“aw, did i say that out loud?” jisung pouted and chenle just chuckled. chenle kissed jisung's cheeks but the younger went in for a peck. they both smiled.
“happy birthday, bae.” chenle said as he went for the other's hand and put a ring in his ring finger.
jisung was shocked.
“oh my god. is this an engagement ring? are you proposing to me right now?” jisung asked, expecting somewhat a yes from the other.
“mayhaps. who knows? maybe that was our break-up ring.”
“ehh, are you serious right now?” jisung pouted.
“just kidding, i'll tell you what that ring is for if you kiss me–”
jisung didn't hesitate. he kissed chenle slow and passionate. they pulled away, with smiles on their faces.
“happy birthday, jisung.”
——a jisung bday special! sooo, what was the ring for?
