she awoke from her sleep it had been a long day yesterday and now she had expected a call from kio because it was nine in the morning in ohio so therefore it was six am there and she would anyways feel bad for having him make an effort into calling her but it was his choice in the end.

she couldn't help but feel bad, he looked extremely exhausted but she felt good that he had decided to make time for his best friend, they have been best friends since they met when she attended vidcon a year ago and now they were inseparable.
"ki, i think you should go back to sleep." she told the boy, he could barely keep his eyes open.
"i'm fine nova, don't worry about me, sleep good?" he asked.
"as well as anyone can sleep." she said with a shrug, insomnia has been eating her up.
"he nodded before he drunk the coffee in the mug to distract himself from falling asleep.
"ki, get some sleep and call me back later, i'm serious."
before he could respond, she hung up the phone because he would just refuse to sleep and she didn't want to hear it.
she walked downstairs and poured herself some cereal because she only lived with herself, sure she was seventeen but she was mentally abused in her home so her uncle gave her his condo to live in.
she sat down and began watching tv to let hours pass and went she looked at her phone it was two in the afternoon which made it around ten where kio lived.

when she saw the comment about the virus she logged off of instagram and then focused her attention on the band aids she had been playing with. also band aids that was freshly bought by her and she put one on her nose and then her finger where there was a cut making it impossible to avoid hand sanitizer.

and there he was, vinnie hacker and she had so many questions but before she could ask, he already answered.
"i asked kio."
she nodded and mentally cursed out kio for just handing out her number, he nodded along with her and she shrugged.
"what's up?" she asked him.
"dixie was right, you do deserve an apology for my fans comments i'm sorry about them, they're out of control." he said sadly.
"it's not your fault, you can't control them."
"i'm still sorry that they're so-"

which earned a deep chuckle from vinnie which sent a chill up her spine, she couldn't help it but he just nodded at her.
"it's okay."
she started before she spoke again.
"my bandaids are cute, aren't they?"
"they're very cute, novak."
vinnie said, chuckling at the excitement from her which made her heart do a excellent amount of backflips.
"thank you!"
he nodded and they stayed on the phone for hours and she hadn't even realized it but soon enough he had to go film and waved goodbye and they hung up, but when she looked down at her phone, she got notifications from instagram, twitter, and tiktok.
