it's 4:52 this time, and he's here.
"i don't think i've introduced myself," i say, when he notices me.
"it's okay," he says. "i haven't, either."
"oh. yeah." it feels like i've known him for weeks.
"i'm kyan," he says.
"i'm riley."
he smiles. "that's a pretty name."
"thank you."
