On the inside its cold
On the outside its warm
The trees waying in wind
The sound of rain
The grass freshly cut
A smiling family
Drinking lemonade on a hot day
Kids running around
Playing
For once
It's not fighting
For once it's not screaming at the top of our lungs
For once it's not crying ourselves to sleep at night
Hoping this is just a dream
For once
We have hope
Then were swept away into a diffrent reality
Where everyone is happy
Mom dosnt cry
Dad dosnt hit
Your brother happy
Everyone smiling
Then as soon as it starts
It stops
No loger a reality
Just a faded memorie
