"What's up with you shuck face?" Me and Jordan were just silently eating dinner without our parents once again as they were with their friends

"Dont call me that..." I grumbled as I poked more at the food in front of me

"Alright grumpy.." I look up at him and scowl

"Dont give me that look miss" he gives me a warning look with his fork pointed at me and food still in his mouth

"Your literally disgusting" he hums taking another mouthful

"You wanna know what I heard today?" For a second I had thought someone told him about benny but boy was I wrong

"Scaito has a crush on you" I dropped my fork at that statement and pinched the bridge of my nose

"Its like everyone has a crush on me" I whisper in my personal bubble

"What was that?" I'm quick to shut my mouth before standing up from my chair, grabbing my coat by the door slipping my arms though the sleeves

"H-hey where are you going??" Jordan stumbles from his seat and towards where I was lacing up my converse

"I'm gonna go jump off a bridge-" I say sarcastically while slipping my hat on

"Are you r-"

"No I'm not gonna jump off a bridge"

"Oh" he gives me a tight lipped frown

"I'm just going to go talk to someone"
I give him a small smile before grabbing my keychain

"Oh well be careful, and be home by like 11 or something. Watch out for thugs" he points his finger jabbing at my chest before turning back around to walk back to the table

"Mkay love you"

"Bye"

I shut our front door and make my way down the steps of our porch. And continue down the track of the sidewalk

I stop at an overly familiar door of the peffercorn household

I knock on the door lightly, and hear the rush of someone's footsteps come closer, though when the door opens I'm not met with my friend but her older blue eyed brother, hes much taller so he had to look down at me leaning on the doorway

"Hey n/n" he says, his eyes fixed onto me

I dont have a problem with her brother, whose names Johnny. I just dont like the type of crowd he hangs around with, a bunch of bullies they are, karate ones at that fact

"Hey Johnny, is Wendy here?" I ask leaning to look around his shoulder before returning my gaze back to him

"Afraid not, but you can come hang out with us if you'd like" he jerks his thumb behind his back where my eyes are met with his friend group, consisting of Jimmy, Bobby, Dutch, and Tommy.

"Eh, no thank you but do you happen to know where she went?" He looks up to the sky for a quick moment before turning back to me

"If I remember right she has pool training..." Dammit I forgot about that

"Johnny what's taking so long!" Dutch yells from the couch facing us "Oh, Hi Y/n!"

All the boys turn their gaze towards me and Johnny and wave to me with smiles

"Hi boys" I wave back "thanks anyway Johnny, Bye guys!" I turn around from the doorway and walk down the stone steps of there house

"Bye N/n" Johnny yells back at me

Welp, not much i can do now....

it's not too late
