In my opinion, Slappy does not belong with a woman like Mary Ellen. She is annoying asf and deserves a rich man or something!

Wally Wood is from Goosebumps as well as Slappy and as a matter of fact, he is Slappy's older brother. Wally needs love and so who better than Mary Ellen to love him? After all, they are both annoying.
