So imagine a robot that was made by Vegapunk but was abandoned because it seemed broken and didn't work and it was abandoned at karakuri their the robot meets franky who helps to slightly repair her ( i decided to make her a she) and she decides to go with franky to find her creator like In the song hello world the line " oh, creator, please don't keep me waiting" and she goes to find Vega punk her creator And along the way maybe she makes her own crew or joins the straw hats on their adventures

So I think it would be better that instead of her being broken she was hidden and powered away because vegapunk knew if she got into the wrong hands things would get back so instead of franky just repairing her he turns her on like a power button.
