I'm quirkless. So what?

Year 1: Pre-tournament

" Can i become a hero, even as quirkless?"

All Might turned around and looked at Izuku. He smiled.

" Yes. You can become a hero." 

Izuku smiled and he almost let a tear fall but he holded it because it didn't fit his 'current' personality.

" But you know that you need to work harder that you already do." All Might said.

" All Might. Will you become my mentor at those three years i will be at UA? You know that if i need to work harder i need a mentor."Izuku said and All Might nodded in agreement.

" When you recover find me at my office." All Might said as he left.

Three days passed and Izuku has recovered. He didn't had any visitors. 

He arrived at the dorm and he noticed that everyone was missing.

" Still in class, huh?" Izuku said as he went to his room.

A few hours later he heard the students discussing. They were talking about the sports festival that would be held in two weeks.

" Pros will watch us in the festival. We will prove ourselves" Kirishima said.

" I'll beat you all" Bakugo said.

" Let's see you try" Kaminari said with a smirk in his face.

" I can't wait two weeks. This is gonna be awesome." Kirishima said.

" I'M EXCITED!!!" Ashido yelled.

" You so loud!" Izuku said as he arrived to the main lobby.

" Deku, you're awake" Uraraka said as she hugged him tight.

" AH! That still hurts!" Izuku said.

" Oh, sorry." Uraraka apologized.

" We're all glad to have you back, Midoriya." Iida said as he touched his shoulder.

" That's new to me." Izuku mocked.

" I heard you something about a sports festival." he continued.

" Yeah, in two weeks UA will hold the sports festival. After this week they gave us a free week to prepare ourselves." Iida explained.

" Hey Midoriya." Todoroki called.

" What is it, Todoroki?" Izuku asked.

" I happened to hear what you asked All Might. I happened to pass from there at that moment. I still don't believe you can become a hero without a quirk." he said.

" I know. You are not the only one in this dorm who believes that." Izuku said.

" However, even if you are quirkless i won't hold back. I will win the sports festival. Consider this as a declaration of war. Bakugo, that goes for you too." 

" You better use your flames, half and half bastard." Bakugo said.

Izuku then started to laugh.  He stopped and talked.

" I will really enjoy this. As you two will be in the spotlight i will sneak to the top and you won't see it coming." Izuku mocked as he left.

" Jeez, this guy. He got beat up and he was injured but he is full of himself and more cocky than before." Sero said annoyed.

Many of the students nodded in agreement.

" It still doesn't change anything. I will beat him." Bakugo said.

(Time skip)

The students were to the stadium ready for the sports festival.

Present Mic: WELCOME!! IT'S TIME FOR THE FIRST-YEARS FESTIVAL! OUR REFEREE WILL BE NON OTHER THAN THE R-RATED HERO, MIDNIGHT!!

Midnight appeared to the stadium.

" Now before we start, a few words from your student representative, Katsuki Bakugo from class 1-A." Midnight announced.

" I will win the sports festival." Bakugo said. The students were enranged of Bakugo's comment.

" Now without any delay let's get to the tournament's qualifiers. And the event for this year is.... Battle Tag Royale." Midnight announced.

" The rules are simple. If someone gets touched 3 times he is eliminated. You can't touch an opponent two times or you're disqualified. The last sixteen who remain will advance to the tournament. Now take your positions students." Midnight explained.

Izuku avoided class 1-A as much as possible. He more near to the general course students.

Present Mic: READY!! STAART!!

The students from the hero course chase many. Todoroki and Bakugo were on a rampage.

Izuku touched many students from the general course and he continued to use it for his advantage. 

" It must feel pathetic to go to the general course when you are from class 1-A." a purple hair boy said. Izuku looked at the scoreboard to see who he was. He was Hitoshi Shinso and he had been touched two times already.

 Izuku dashed and touched him. Shinso got eliminated.

" I'm actually quirkless." he said as he left to tag his next preys.

As time was passing the arena was becoming emptier and emptier.

" ONE MORE ELIMINATION!! WHO WILL BE THE UNLUCKY ONE??" Present Mic said.

" One more, huh?" Izuku thought as he saw who remained. 

Todoroki and Bakugo looked at him.

" Shit" Izuku said.

" Time to go home, Deku." Bakugo said as he charged.

Todoroki followed. But before anything happens..." TIME UP!! WE HAVE THE SIXTEEN SURVIVORS!!"

" Tch! You got lucky, Deku!"he left.

" NOW WE WILL HAVE A 30 MINUTE BREAK, BUT BEFORE THAT LET'S SEE THE KNOCKOUT TABLE FOR THE TOURNAMENT." Present Mic announced.

" Let's see who passed." Izuku thought.

Izuku looked at the knockout table.

Shiozaki vs Iida

Monoma vs Yaoyorozu

Midoriya vs Kirishima

Todoroki vs sero

Jiro vs Mineta

Bakugo vs Uraraka 

Tokoyami vs Ashido

Kaminari vs Aoyama

The students saw the knockout table.

"Huh, Uraraka?" Bakugo wondered who that was.

" Why did i have to be with  Jiro of all girls? I hoped to have a booby girl for opponent" Mineta said as Jiro looked at him with a death glare.

" Jeez, it's gonna be a hard one." Sero said as he saw his opponent was Todoroki.

Izuku thought "I still don't get how Mineta advanced to the last sixteen. And who is Monoma? I didn't see him standing out during the battle royale. Not that it matters. I will have a chance to advance with Kirishima as an opponent. His hardening will be like i hit trees. Nothing new. And after him it would be Todoroki. I can't see Sero win."

After the time skip the students went to the seats where they had for students to watch the tournament.

" FROM THE ONE CORNER WE HAVE ONE OF THE TWO WHO ARE FROM CLASS 1-B, IBARA SHIOZAKI! AND HER OPPONENT, FROM CLASS 1-A, TENYA IIDA!! Present Mic announced.

Midnight then talked.

" Ready, start!
