Troll and Steel

The Troll Rock part 1

"This is gonna be an awful day" said Aaron in annoyance

"Don't think like that , be a little positive" said Kaisa trying to cheer him up

"I'm POSITIVE that this is will be a terrible day" said Aaron frowning "so please stop sugar coating it"

"Okay , okay , I'll stop" said Kaisa

Aaron was walking with Kaisa the librarian to the school , because today , your guardian has to come with

And Kaisa being the only one remotely close to a guardian for Aaron was the one dragged to this school event

And the first thing they saw when they got close to the school was the principal imitating drum noises in front of Hilda and her mom

"A dedication ceremony for our new statue!" Said the principal enthusiastically

"Huh , he seems nice" said Hilda

"As nice as it can get for someone with more hair than face" deadpanned Aaron

"He is!" Said the principal enthusiastically "one of our city's great founders , Edmond "the troll slaaaayyyy_""

"Just ignore me" said Aaron tiredly

"Edmond Alburg!" the principal said with an awkward smile "Sorry about that" the principal told Aaron "I'll omit that part of the ceremony"

And to that Aaron just walked away silently with a frown , Hilda walked In with him

"Aaron uhm what's that disk?" Asked Hilda as she saw Aaron's project

It was a big dark blue disk shaped box

"It's a special music box" said Aaron excitedly as he activated the music box "once activated , on top of playing music , it shows a wonderful scene"

Then Hilda watched as a hatch opened from the top of the music box when the music started playing, and from it rose a grass like terrain that had a fallen log with a human doll sitting on it , all in front of a campfire

Then a few seconds later another hatch opened and from it appeared a metallic troll who then walked and sat next to the human

Then more and more creatures appeared and sat around the fire , elves , an ogre , a deerfox, some vittras  , and more ,they all sat down calmly around a fire in the middle of the night , each doing their own special little thing

"Whoa , that's amazing! How did you make this?" asked Hilda as she looked at the music box

"Yeah , I never knew you could make such things" said Kaisa with a smile

"All it took was a bit of trollsteel , some pointers from a friend and lots and lots and of free time" said Aaron as he closed the box

"How about you see mine" said Hilda with a smile "I brought littens"

"Well Let's go then" said Aaron smiling

That was before Frida caught them both and dragged them to her project

"Uh ehem , how about we begin with short film about the history of our school" said ms.Hallgrim "Trevor!"

"Yes ms.Hallgrim" said Trevor before removing the last source of sunlight in the room

Then ms.hallgrim started the short film , that everyone practically was about to fall asleep from

Then in the middle of the film , a rock hit the projector ,a rock from David's rock collection

And when sunlight entered the room again, Hilda and David were the first to the projector

And Ms.Hallgrim's first suspect was Hilda

And of course Aaron and Kaisa heard that

"I don't think it's her , she doesn't seem like one to do it" said Kaisa crossing her arms

"Yeah yeah , I need to go talk to Hilda quickly for no apparent reason" said Aaron nervously

Then they heard

"Ms.hallgrim , what about Aaron? He could've done it" said Trevor with a smile

"Aaand there it is" said Aaron in frustration as heard people murmur around him in agreement

"Aaron?" Asked Ms.hallgrim

"Ms.hallgrim I'll be truthful with you , if I were to throw a rock at anything it'd be Trevor's fat empty head , for obvious reasons" said Aaron calmly "and there's no proof that I did it , even my guardian can attest for my innocence , and of course I don't have the slightest of idea who it could be , I couldn't look the screen just to look at that brutality  , so to the judge and juries, for the lack of evidence , motives and abilities to commit this crime , I plead innocent!...did I do that right?"

"Aaron this is a school not a courtroom , I was just going to ask you if you saw who did it , so just calm down" said Ms.Hallgrim before turning to Hilda "I'll have a talk with your parent about your... behavior"

"Thank the all loving mother of trolls" said Aaron after a sigh of relief

"How did you actually do that?" Asked Frida raising a brow "I mean talk like that"

"One of my favorite books" said Aaron pulling a book from nowhere and handing it to Frida

""Law for dummies" all the courtroom experience you'll need in one book?" said Frida reading the cover of the book "why do you even have this?"

"When you're me you never know when you need a way to exploit the law" said Aaron before taking back his book "my best friend"

But before Frida could say anything to that

"Ms.Hallgrim loves me" said Hilda with a smile

Hearing this Aaron choked on air , then Frida went and brought her over

"Firstly , ms.hallgrim doesn't really love you" said Frida

"Yeah when I heard you say that she loved you , I nearly choked on non-existence" said Aaron after coughing for a bit

"She doesn't?" Asked Hilda

"It's just, you're not the best at following the rules" said Frida

"I can't believe no one else spoke about the apple thing" said Hilda in disbelief

"Hilda , you answer the questions they give us , you don't give them new questions" said Frida

"But that's the fun part , why do they ask us questions they already know the answer to?" Asked Hilda

And before Frida could reply , Aaron did

"It's so we know how to answer similar questions , to be able to get enough credibility to get a job , but most people when they grow older happen to not use 90% of what they learnt from schools and such , then the realization dawns on them , why did I spend so long studying something I wouldn't use , was solving that one math problem worth it , all that time from your childhood , gone forever ,all because you had to study so much for that one math problem ,then when you're finally old and free it's unacceptable to do childish things like watching cartoons ,they kick you out of your childhood and never let experience it again...or so I heard from a random guy at that one restaurant"

They all just gave him confused gazes

"Anyway ,ms.hallgrim is probably going to try to put you in a special class for your disruptive behavior and before you ask , yes you're disruptive in class" said Aaron "and now to the other point , David ,why do you have a troll rock?"

"A TRO_" David was about to yell before Aaron put his hand over David's mouth

"So that rock was a troll rock after all" said Hilda

"Yes , and we have to make a plan to get it out of here" said Aaron
