Gilly's POV at 1 a.m.
"We have to talk to my mom. She might know something about this. Especially if it could have something to do with Stiltskin." Kayla's voice was definative and no one tried to argue with her. It wouldn't have worked anyway. "What are you waiting for?! Let's go!"
"Are you sure we should wake your mom up at 1 o'clock in the moring based on a hunch?" AG asks as we leave the mine and Maxine's room.
"She'd be more upset with me if we didn't tell her right away and something happened," Kayla dismissed AG with a shrug. That said, her wings were fluttering like crazy and they kept popping on and off her back.
AG was still a little reluctant to go, but with some encouragement from the rest of us we headed off to Kayla's fairy house in the bottom of one of the tries on the edge of the hollow woods. When we reached the place where we, by now, knew her house was, Kayla started fishing around in her pocket for something that we all knew was going to be shrinking potions. She handed them out to everyone but me. She smirked at me.
"Kayla, you know I can't do magic yet, isn't this important?" I say, exasperated her new antics to try to force me to magic.
"You can do it, and if you can't I'll give you the bottle after you try." Kayla held one in her hand and watched me as I tried, unwillingly, to shrink myself with magic. The oters were popping into tiny little three inch-ish tall pixie-people. It wasn't working. I sighed and looked at Kayla, she handed my the bottle. "We'll work on it, promise," she said as I drank the potion in the bottle and she pouffed to be the size of a teacup.
Kayla lead us all into the house and we found her mom awake, sitting in thier livingroom. "Hello everyone. I thought you'd be here before long," she sighed. She was drinking what must have been coffee from a cup with her name Angelina on it.
"How'd you know we were coming?" came Jack's voice. Wait, why was Jack here?!
"Jack?!" we all yelled at the same time, except him and Angelina.
"Why did you give him a potion, Kayla?" Jax asked.
"I don't know! I could hardly see you guys, I didn't know it was him!" Kayla responded.
"Children!" Angelina's voice cut through all of us (except me because I was too woried to scream and AG who wasn't a fan of confruntation of any sort) making us all stop instantly. Her face was going pink and I had a bit of a flash-back to when I thought she might murder me while Kayla was in the other room. "There are more important things going on than whose here or why!"
"Do you know what's going on?" I asked.
"I know what could happen, Gilly dear. No one can actually predict the future, remember?" She didn't give me the chance to respond. "Bad things are going to happen at Fairy Tale Reform School yet again." (Okay, she's reminding me of Jax when he was talking me into staying.)
"Do you have any idea whose got something to do with them?" Maxine asked, her voice was far more propper than I bothered to be with Angelina.
"Yes."
"Who is it, mom?" Kayla asked, she was starting to get more anxious. I could tell by her face.
"I don't know if I should say infront of all of you," she said, she was looking around at all of us, but her gaze kept lingering on me. Oh no.
"It doesn't matter who you tell, we'll know." Ollie stated. "We'd all tell the others."
I noticed Jack was gone now. I don't know when he left but he couldn't have gone anywhere but the door out without walking right in front of me. He must have left since everyone was upset he was there.
