Sunday Morning, 8:30am
At Dave's House

It was an early Sunday morning and the Chipmunks were talking about what they should all do today on the last day of the summer holidays

The Chipettes had gone to the seaside for a girls weekend away together, whilst the Chipmunks were at home with Dave

"So what do you guys want to do today before the girls come back home tonight?" asked Simon

"Not sure, I'm a little bored of watching TV and playing video games at the moment" replied Alvin

"Me too..." said Theodore

After a couple of minutes talking, one of them came up with the idea of going Ziplining

"Hey yeah, that's a great idea" said Alvin with excitement

"There is a Ziplining place about 20 minutes away by car. I will ask Dave if he can drop us off" called Simon

Time Skip

It was 10am and Dave had dropped the Chipmunks off outside the building for Ziplining

The three put on their backpacks full of snacks, went inside the building asked the safety instructor inside if they could go Ziplining

"Yes, sure you can boys. You just need to gear up and you will be ready to go" replied the safety instructor

The Chipmunks put on their helmets and harnesses and were ready to go

"Wow, I didn't know we had to wear these. This is a bit more dangerous than I thought" admitted Theodore

"OK boys, just go in the room over there to your left and sit with the others till the last couple of people arrive" said the safety instructor

Alvin looked at Simon with a shocked expression on his face

"Others? I didn't know there would be other people Ziplining with us...making us into a group" said Alvin with a sigh

The Chipmunks went into the other room and sat down with the other people that were ready to go Ziplining too

Once the Chipmunks had sat down, they placed their backpacks on the floor

Alvin Simon and Theodore looked at each other and the people around them

When in a tour group the brain has to work overtime, pretending to like and care about other people

"Hey boys, how are you today?" asked one of the men in the room

"Good thanks..." replied Simon

The lack of any excitement was making Theodore feel sleepy

He went in his backpack and pulled out an energy drink

"Theodore, you know Dave doesn't like you having too many energy drinks. He said all the sugar inside them is bad for your health" explained Simon

"I know...I only have five energy drinks with me today. Besides, it's only whilst we are sat waiting" replied Theodore

After half an hour of waiting, the last two people arrived

"Sorry we made you all wait everyone" said the man who had just arrived

The muscles in Alvin's face forced Alvin to smile back at the man, but in Alvin's mind he was thinking "Dude, f*ck you!"

"Can we go Ziplining now?" asked Theodore

"Not yet, we have to watch the safety video first" said one of the women in the group

The Chipmunks sighed with disappointment. They only wanted to go outdoors and have a bit of fun

The safety instructor came in the room and spoke up

"Hi everyone, my name is Sam and I will be your tour guide today while you are Ziplining and will be responsible for everyone's safety" explained Sam

"Before we can go Ziplining, we are going to watch this safety video first" said Sam

15 minutes later, the safety video had finished

The Chipmunks thought they would be able to get out and have fun now

Unfortunately, one of the men in the group asked if he could see the safety video again to see the best way of holding the rope again

Another 15 minutes had passed and everyone was now leaving the building to go outside

"Finally!" called Alvin with excitement

As soon as the tour group was outside, the Chipmunks excitement disappeared

"OK everyone, into the shuttle bus" said Sam

The word 'shuttle' made Alvin and Theodore think of all the horrible times they have had to sit for hours on a boring coach on school trips

"Um...excuse me, how long we will be on the shuttle bus?" asked Simon

"About 45 minutes, now come on boys" replied Sam

Alvin Simon and Theodore all sighed with disappointment and got on the shuttle bus

A few minutes after the shuttle bus had set off, Sam started asking everyone to talk a bit about themselves

Alvin and Theodore didn't pay much attention to what people were saying, they were just hoping that they would be Ziplining soon

However, things were not good for Theodore

Last night he had eaten a few Spicy Beef Burritos and they were just starting to digest inside his stomach

This wouldn't normally be a big issue for Theodore, but now he is drinking energy drinks too...he is speeding up the inevitable

Theodore doesn't have long till he will have to do his smelly business

If Theodore has to do his smelly business whilst on the Ziplining tour, it would be a disaster for everyone

Once the shuttle bus came to a stop, everyone got out and followed Sam up the wooden stairs to the Zipline

"OK who wants to go first?" asked Sam

"Me! Me! I am desperate for some action!" shouted Alvin

Sam attached Alvin's harness to the rope

"OK youngster, are you ready to go?" asked Sam

"Yes, just let me go please!" begged Alvin

Sam pushed Alvin down the Zipline

At the other end of the Zipline there was another staff member ready to help people get off safely

The staff member helped Alvin get his harness off and Alvin was back on the ground

"Well how was it?" shouted Theodore

"Quite boring honestly guy's!" Alvin shouted back

"Oh no, really..." complained Theodore

Simon and Theodore went next and they both felt the same as Alvin did

20 minutes later, the rest of the tour group had arrived at the bottom of the Zipline

"Oh right, that was great everyone!" called Sam

"Is that it? Do we go home now?" asked Simon

"No way, this is a Zipline tour. We have 16 more Zipline's to go. Everyone back in the shuttle bus" explained Sam

Alvin Simon and Theodore looked at each other with shocked faces

They have just realised they are on a trip from hell!
