There was fire everywhere and we couldn't find Jonathan. We finally spot O'Connell and Eve and rush over there. He looks at us and says, "Can you swim?"

Luna and I nod, and Eve looks afraid, "Well of course I can swim, if the occasion calls for it."

O'Connell picks her up and says, "Trust me," and then lifts her over the edge, "the occasion calls for it."

He steps toward us and we shook our heads, "We'll go. Don't worry." And soon Luna and I followed Eve. Once all of us were in the water, including Jonathan (When did he get here?), we followed O'Connell to the bank of the river.

We see Beni on the other side with the Americans and several horses. He shouts, "Hey O'Connell. Looks to me like I got all the horses!"

O'Connell looks unimpressed and shouts back, "Hey Beni. Looks to me like you're in the wrong side if the river!"

Beni looks around, and suddenly starts screaming in Arabic and stomping his feet.

We all laughed, and Jonathan said, "Where to now O'Connell?"

Eve just looked enraged and said, "I've lost all my supplies, and all my clothes!"

O'Connell said, "There's a village close by. We can resupply there."

The next day, Luna, Evelyn and I went to the market. We got several more supplies, and convinced Eve to try on a Bedouin dress. She looked gorgeous. Both Luna and I just bought some dress robes and called it a day.

Eve then said, "Why am I the only one different?"

I laughed and said, "You're the only one who has to impress someone."

We get closer to the men and hear Johnathan, "I can't believe the price of these fleabags."

O'Connell snorts and said, "We coulda had 'em for free, all we had to do was give 'em the girls."

Jonathan laughs and says, "Yes, awfully tempting, wasn't it?"

That's when O'Connell spots Eve and says lowly, "Awfully."

It was several hours later and we were well on our way in the desert toward Hamunaptra when Johnathan sighed, "Never did like camels. Filthy buggers. They smell, they bite, they spit. Disgusting."

We all notice the warden savagely attacks his chicken leg. There were several flies buzzing around his head and he seemed to be completely unaware. I then spit some gristle out of his mouth, unbothered.

O'Connell looked disgusted and says, "Yeah, disgusting."

Evelyn smiles and pats her camel and says, "Well I think they're cute."

Luna smiles into the desert and says, "He'll help you win."

Everyone just looked at her but kept quiet.

It was nighttime now, and everyone had fallen asleep, except O'Connell and I. Eve's head was resting on his shoulder, and he gently moves her over. I smiled and noticed on a cliff that there were several black riders watching us.

I looked at O'Connell and said, "You know them?"

He knew exactly who I was talking about and answered, "They're desert people. I saw them the last time I went to Hamunaptra."

I hummed and said, "Why are they following us?"

He shrugged and said, "Beats me." He then looked at me and said, "Why are you not asleep?"

I shrugged and said, "I don't sleep too often anymore."

He wisely kept quiet, and the rest of the night passed in peace. The next morning, Jonathan was yelling at the warden, "And you snore!"
