ೃ✧ ━ 𝑯𝑬𝑹 eyes looked around the city that was covered in panic and fear. She was helping people evacuate when she gasped as robots began climbing up and appearing, "Everybody! Go! Now!" Cordelia yelled as people began running as she put a force field up, "Fuck every single one of you metal bastards!" She exclaimed as they continued shooting at her. She smiled slightly as she saw Pietro run through them,

"You're welcome, Cordelia." Pietro said before running off,

"Yeah, yeah, thank you, you fast sokovian bitch." Cordelia sighed as she began running towards the robots, blasting at them as she did so, she stopped as she felt the ground move. She looked down to see the ground breaking apart, the city going up to the sky, "Holy shit."

"Do you see the beauty of it? The inevitability. You rise, only to fall. You Avengers, you are my meteor, my swift and terrible sword. And the world will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me. It means nothing. When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world will be metal." Cordelia's chest heaved up and down, she shook her head before she began shooting at the robots again,

"Holy shit- is everyone okay?" Cordelia asked before she kicked one off of the floating rock,

"Yeah, we're all okay." Steve said to which Cordelia nodded, "Stark you worry about bringing the city down safely, the rest of us have one job, tear these things apart. If you get hurt, hurt them back. You get killed, walk it off. Cordelia looked over and saw Pietro,

"He's literally just doing his job and it's hot? I need to go touch some grass, I swear." Cordelia mumbled to herself before she ran off towards Steve, "You're getting your ass beat aren't you?" Steve sighed before nodding,

"Yeah, I am." Steve sighed, Cordelia covered her mouth,

"Excuse my language!" Cordelia shrugged as Steve sighed,

"We're all clear here." Clint's voice rang through the earpiece.

"We're not clear here!" Steve said as he tackled a robot behind Cordelia, she turned around and quickly shot at it, "We are very not clear here!"

"Alright, coming to you." Clint responded as Cordelia continuously shot at them,

"I just want a normal week without someone trying to kill us or someone mind-controlling us!" She complained as she ran towards where the market is. "Nice of you to join us, Romanoff!" Natasha smiled at the younger woman,

"The next waves gonna hit any minute. What do you got, Stark?" Steve asked as they took

"Huh? Nothing great." Tony responded, "Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface, if you guys can get clear." Cordelia's eyes widened as she back at Steve,

"I asked for a solution, not an escape plan." Steve stated.

"Impact radius is getting bigger every second. We're gonna have to make a choice." Tony explained as Cordelia walked over towards Steve and Natasha,
