I hate the game Truth or Drink. I find it quite useless in my opinion. I mean, you tell about secrets and drink. What's the point? You'll just betray the person you told the secrets to anyways. I never really liked the game because of all of the talking you had to do. I like games with more action and less talking. Games such as hide and seek or soccer but alas, now that I am in the Mafia and going on missions there is not really much time for play. I've also grown a lot since my childhood.
It doesn't mean that I wouldn't want to play a game though. I like playing games when I feel like it and sometimes I even end up enjoying myself. Dazai asked one day to play a game of Truth or Drink with him and Chuuya. I decided to play only because there was another Mafia member involved. Atsushi was skeptical about it at first but I managed to convince him.
"I don't know.." Atsushi said as he fiddled with his tie. I rolled my eyes and looked at him with a slight pout.
"Aww come on Jinko! Live a little! Don't worry. I'm sure these two won't do anything bad to you," I said trying to convince him to agree. He caved in pretty quickly actually.
"Ok fine fine. Stop begging me already," he said laughing a little. I smiled slightly and we got up from where we were sitting and went into the room where Dazai and Chuuya were. We were all in the Agency at the moment.
I took my seat next to Chuuya at a rectangle table and Atsushi took his next to Dazai. A few bottles of alcohol were set out on the table in front of us and we each had a shot glass in front of our places at the table.
"Ahh glad to see everyone's here. Now. I should close the door before we start." Dazai got up to close the door but stopped when Chuuya stated
"But there is no one else here right now. Why shut the door?" The Agency was empty for the day because everyone had something to do. Dazai and Atsushi were left in charge to watch the place because none of them had anything to do that day. No wonder we were playing this game here. Dazai loves messing around with the Agency and hosting a drinking game in the area would surely upset Kunikida.
Dazai nodded and then went back to where he sat. "Well Chuuya does have a point so.. ok then. Let's get the rule set up. Rule one: you either have to do a truth or drink a shot of whiskey. Rule two: You have to tell the truth. Rule three: We do a dare after every three shot of whiskey. That's it." The remaining three of us looked to each other.
"But won't Chuuya be incapacitated by three?" Atsushi asked. Chuuya sat up suddenly and started yelling. Dazai had to intervene before Chuuya killed the weretiger.
"Now, now Chuuya calm down. Atsushi didn't mean it." Chuuya sat down, glaring at Atsushi. Atsushi sat down as well, deciding to leave his question unanswered. Dazai looked to all of us and waited.
"We're ready? Ok then, let's start!" Dazai said as he looked for a person to ask. "Akutagawa. Do you like working with Atsushi?"
The question wasn't too personal so I answered.
"Yeah i guess I can work with him." I said in a calm tone. Dazai nodded.
"You're turn Akutagawa. Choose someone," Dazai prompted after we had been silent for a while. I looked around and finally settled on asking Chuuya. "Chuuya did you ever get your relationship with Dazai on track?" I asked. Chuuya stiffened and reached out for a shot of whiskey. He choked it down with no hesitation. My executive then looked at the table without saying anything. I knew, then, that Chuuya hadn't worked things out yet. I made a mental note not to ask about his relationship for now.
"Well, well, well. I knew the Hat Rack would be the first drinker! Ok Petite Mafioso your turn!" Dazai teased, emphasizing the Petite Mafioso part. Chuuya huffed and pointed to Atsushi. Atsushi waited for his question.
