Chapter 5: Bella he's not here

As we get to school Bella and I are standing behind her truck and I see my brother so I wave at him and he waves back

Bella is looking for Edward as usual
I guess that encounter they had yesterday in class was to weird for him or something

"Bella stop looking, he's not here" I tell the girl

"Well where could he be?" She asks

"I don't know, maybe he's visiting family" I tell her

She continues to ask me questions about it and my brother and Jasper can see that I'm getting overwhelmed with questions from her as thunder starts to crack into the sky as my brother runs over to me and leads me over with him and his family

"I'm sorry I tried, but she kept asking me too many questions" I tell him

" it's ok, you're with us now" Dean tells me as Jasper puts his arm around me and Dean glares at Bella for upsetting me

We go into the building and I go to my locker as Dean and Jasper both stand close to me making sure no one else upsets me or sets me off today

"Guys I'm fine, as long as I have you two or someone else in the family to watch me" I tell them

"You have a least one or two of us in your classes" my brother says

I go to my math class and I see Rosalie and Emmett and I smile and goes to sit down, I look at the board realizing I did this before at my old school in southern Texas and I look out the window

As the bell rings for class to start I continue to stare out of the window

An hour later the bell rings again for the end of class and I get up gathering my things and goes to biology class. As I get there I see Bella and Jasper I sigh as I see Bella coming over to me

I walk over to Jasper and lean on him

"I really don't want to be here" I quietly tell him

"I know" he says as he kisses my head
(Jasper and Christina are dating)

As the bell rings for class to begin we are handed permission slips for a field trip to the local green house, I put my permission slip in my binder and closes my eyes

"Someone's tired today" jasper says

"Didn't get much sleep last night" I say

"Do I wanna know why?" He asks concerned

"Maybe, maybe not" I say
He sighs

I whimper in my sleep

Someone shakes me awake I open my eyes to see it's Jasper

"What's wrong" I ask him in my southern accent

"You were whimpering in your sleep almost like you wanted to scream" he says

"Ok thanks for waking me" I say

"My pleasure darlin" he says in a southern accent
"You're from Texas?" I ask

"So are you" he says

"Well South Texas " I say

"Which part are you from?" He asks

"Tacoma, you" I ask

"Huston Texas, born and raised" he says

"Cool" I say back as I smile

I sigh remembering something

"What?" Jasper asks

"Once Dean turned 18 he went off to war that's the last time I saw him until now" I say in a sad tone

"Then the week after I was walking home from the gym and I got beaten and raped to where I can't have kids, then a month after all that our parents got in a horrible car crash and died once we got to the hospital" I say to him as I hold back the tears

As class ended I got up out of my chair and ran to my brother and hugged him and didn't let go

Jasper right behind me as we all went in the cafeteria and sat down and they talked all through lunch, I was quiet as I was laying my head down on the table with my eyes closed
As lunch ended I went with Jasper to the library and wrote in my notebook and talked to Jasper about my brother when we were kids.

As I was talking to him mid sentence the bell rings and I get up along with Jasper and he walks me to my art class.

As I get to art I sit next to Alice and I zone out again and paint a picture of Dean and I and our parents I come back to reality and I sigh

"I did it again didn't I?" I ask Alice

"Yeah" she says
I nod

As the bell rings for art to finish I grab my painting and leave, showing the picture to Dean and the rest of the family

"Wow you're really talented " says Rosalie

"Thanks Rose, you should read one of my books" I tell her

"Sure" she says

I hand her the book I was writing in the library as I finished it at home yesterday and I give to painting to my brother as I jet off to history class with Jasper and Dean following me.

We get to history class and the teacher tells us to pick a topic on a specific war to write on and we choose the civil war of Major Jasper Whitlock and Ranger Dean Carson
I wanted this particular topic to honor my brother, so I read up on it and wrote some notes and the boys helped me , we didn't get to finish because the bell ring , so we made a plan for me to come to their house to finish and I greatly accepted
