as you all get off the bus, you lead the team inside since keishin isn't here right now. "okay guys. i don't know when keishin's gonna be here so i'm stepping in for him. hinata, use the bathroom but please don't cause any trouble" you say while looking at him. "i already went y/n" he whines. "okay okay, come on" you say as you all walk up the stairs to get changed.

"please don't get nervous because then i'll get nervous" you say as you all walk to the gymnasium. as soon as you guys get inside, all of their moods change, well, except kageyama, daichi, suga, and tanaka. "oh my god! i just told you guys not to get nervous. here they come!" you say as the door opens.

shiratorizawa comes inside and you look at the guys. "they're not even that intimidating, i know at least three of them personally" you say while nudging sho. "yeah to you! look at them" he says while glancing over at them. "what happened to you sho? the tiny giant wouldn't be nervous right now" you say while grinning and walking away.

you turn to look at them all before speaking. "guys just remember the meeting we had last night. you're all just as good as they are" you say as they nod before beginning to warm up.

as you're helping them with receiving, you look up and see semi staring at you . you grin and send a wave towards him and tendou, who glanced over at you before lining up.

the announcer introduces our starting lineup and then you sit down. beside takeda and kiyoko. "i'm so nervous" you say. "why? i think they have a chance" she replies. "yeah of course! it's just, we're playing a five set game. i'm just worried they'll tire themselves out or something. and then ushijima was born to be a fucking ace, you know, with him being left handed and all" you say.

"oh yeah, your right. i'm sure they'll catch on pretty quickly. and, i doubt they'll be as tired as we think" she says while nodding. you nod, agreeing.

shortly after the start of the first set, shiratorizawa reaches eight points so the teams have a technical time out. the boys come over and you speak. "find the sweet spot in their timing. if all comes to fail, be sure to just let them know you're there when you're blocking" you tell them before the timeout is over.

they get back on the court and you watch as they jump to block one of ushijima's spikes, making him send the ball to noya. reaching the 16 point mark, another technical time out approaches.

"that was good timing tsukki. you're doing great too noya, just make sure you're able to position yourself correctly okay?" you tell him. "okay y/n! anything for you!" he says. "this is for the team noya, not just me" you say and smile as the timeout ends. they get back onto the court and you see that ushijima is serving.

he serves the ball and noya receives it. "it's up!" you shout while standing up. "good job noya" you mumble to yourself and smile. kageyama sets the ball to tanaka and he slams it down, earning you guys a point. "good job guys! get into it, show me something hinata!" you say as he comes into the game.

reaching 25 points, shiratorizawa takes the first set.

"there's nothing to worry about guys. let's just say that this first set was a warm up" you say while looking at them. "ushy-gush- i mean ushijima, scored like 11 points, nearly half of their total. but you guys are honestly getting under their skin considering how often ushiwaka's getting the ball." you say to them.

"ushijima's a normal person just like the rest of us. everyone has their limits and so does he. so you guys go out there a whoop some ass for coach y/n" you say while crossing your arms over your chest. "right!" they yell before going back on the court.

a few moments later into the game, you shake your head and speak. "mr. takeda we need a time out" you say as tendou gets a play. he nods and calls a timeout. "he's guess blocking. his instincts are pretty good and pretty accurate, but of course, they could counter and be wrong" you say to everyone. they nod. "he's going to keep up with you so try your best to knock him off your back. when you knock him off, you'll knock the rest of them off too" you add.
