This face isn't mine,

the sun in my heart never shines.

This skin is a cover.

Nobody can discover.

My soul is a shadow,

my body lies under a meadow.

Everybody walks through my ghost.

Wishes shatter on a coast.

I close my inner eyes

and fall from the hopeful skies.

Around me are blue butterflies.

I arrived in my personal paradise.

I'm integrated into a new world,

like a character in a fantasy book.

The view from my eyes is blurred,

but it's still a better look,

than the one from my real life.

I wouldn't want to know if it is a dream.

The truth would make me scream.

So I prefer to dive through my imagination.

Cause routine and reality are a deadly combination.

I want to stay here,

in the nature of my soul.

Suddenly my view gets clear,

I can't control.

HI♡ Dieses Gedicht entstand aus einem Moment heraus, in dem ich eigentlich ein anderes Gedicht auf Deutsch fertigstellen wollte. Nun ja, plötzlich sind mir dann Reime auf englisch eingefallen und bevor ich mich versah, hatte ich ein vollständiges Gedicht vor mir liegen:)) Wie immer werden Kommentare und Kritik gerne entgegengenommen.
