I was surprised to find a cassette tape delivered on my doorstep, a tape I had not ordered and had no idea where it came from. It was lightly scorched and had a few dents. Despite how damaged it was, I managed to get it to run on an old cassette player I had lying around.
After listening to its contents I have decided to follow the example of another man who has found a similar tape and noted down the contents of the tape. What you are going to read is an approximation of what I managed to make out from the recording. I won't blame any readers for believing this to be a work of fiction. I find it hard to believe it myself.
But if the words contained herein are true, I fear we are all in great danger.
