i watched, the sun slowly diminish into the sky. whether it was my talk that had scared it away or the darkening of the space around it, i could not think for sure. yet i knew it too did mourn that seat you had left empty in its rays. for whenever it cast it's colours, you reflected through it for a moment and slept therein until it set. i could not help but wonder, if it too lived with your absence as though it was your presence, until its own reflection hit him with reality. and he like the warm thing that he is, let himself be consumed by you until he could no longer keep it in himself. then he would let you explode in the surrounding ice of the sky, wherein you could be seen by not just me, but even they who pushed you to do what you dreaded the most.
