At the time of the plague, I lived in a town of approximately 720 people and at age 13 had little influence. It hit us hard, taking out one third of the population the first night. Then morning came and with it the chaos. Many killed themselves after finding a body and others turned manic. The mutagen was airborne and spreading fast. People dropped in the streets and few were laid to rest. It lasted three days and we lost over 97% of the population. No one ever found the cure, It simply just stopped. Those left were paranoid and in disbelieve that the plague was over or even could end. This started the wars, for land, food, women. Everything was up for grabs and there was no law. The world plunged into darkness. No power, communications and no government boarders. Nothing to stop us.
